OK, he still hasn't played and he's dropped both lawsuits against books who claimed that he used Steriods and/or Human growth hormones...

He's also now willing to talk...

i found it interesting that him bringing suit was huge news, but him dropping the suits is just a minor news story, when essentially it seems to be him admitting that he can't prove libel on their part, which means they're telling the truth...

That's the interesting thing. He wasn't suing them for libel, he was suing them for improperly using grand jury testimony in the book.

Nah, it's not quite that easy. Inability to prove libel != truth.

It just means you can't prove, say, that it was published with malice aforethought and intent to destroy his reputation. Could still be false allegations, though.

Also, because it was dismissed without prejudice, he can refile the lawsuit at any time.
