Placed a bid on a condo and it was accepted. With a little bit of luck, we'll close in two weeks and I'll move in July 1.

983 Sq feet, hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, all new appliances, 2 bedrooms (the second of which I'll use as a study, it has an incredible mountain view).

First time I've ever owned a home and I'm excited and scared to death at the same time.

This is going to be a hectic two weeks.

Troy, glad you are getting more settled. What part of Denver?

North Denver. Westminster.

I've been in Dads basement for about a year and a half after helping him through back surgery. It's going to be nice to get my own place again. :)

Huh - for some reason, I thought you were married. I didn't think the Dad's basement would work too well with that. :D

I played disc golf in Westminster. I seem to remember some cool holes along a creek.

Congrats on the purchase!

congrats troy. Was nice of you to be there for your dad but I'm betting it'll feel very good to be out of his basement :)

Beyond good. The last 6 years or so I've been doing things for my family. I made a move to Colorado to spend more time with my grandfather. Made it right before 9/11 and was kicked in the teeth by the job market.

I finally get a great job and then my dad had some issues and I went to help him. It's time to take care of me a little bit. I'm going to be selfish for the next six months and make sure I do some things I've wanted to do for awhile.
