Today's mildly amusing work story

We had a new hire today and I was outside teaching her the art of cardboard baling.

While I was showing her how to load the baler correctly and whatnot, this older guy was out from another store with its cardboard and I chatted to him some. When he got done loading his cardboard in the baler, there was one last piece left. He tossed it frisbee style and it landed perfectly in line with the rest of his boxes. I bowed and said, "Truly you are one of the Cardboard Jedi."

He grinned, mock sneered and said, "You do not recognize the powers of the Dark Side of the Baler, Jedi."

The new girl looked at us like we were nuts. :D

Yeah a lot of my stories involving women don't finish up so well. The last bummer of an ending was when this girl I really like and I were supposed to go mini-golfing on my birthday.

Her boss made her stay late and she lost my number besides, so it didn't go.

Not particularly, no. Though I'm going to a party Saturday night where there'll be a bunch of girls from work and quite a few other people besides, cuz S's parties are usually quite the bashes.

If there were a girl in a room at a party, and the only other two people in the room were Izulde, and that make-up heir that drugged women and had sex with them on-camera, I think the girl would take her chances with the rapist.
