Highlander #18: Imitation Chex Cereal Promotion (RESULTS POSTED)

Poor Little Madi. Her mom has convinced her to switch from Chex brand Cereal to a much cheaper imitation cereal. How did she convince her to switch? The imitation cereal is running a promotion where each box of cereal will have a sealed envelope with a random letter in it. If anyone can spell out "i love crispy hexagons" with the game pieces they will win an imitation Ipod from the Orange Computer company. Suppose...

1. Every letter of the alphabet has an equal chance of being put in a box.
2. This includes letters not in the winning phrase, such as 'z' or 'm'.
3. All letters are lower case
4. Madi goes through a box of cereal every 5 days. (Hence mom wanting to switch to the cheaper brand)

Supposing that Madi's mom buys the first box of cereal today, June 14th, on what date will Madi be able to send for her Jpod? PM me your guess by 8:00 CST tommorow night. (June 15th) Whoever is closest will win and get to run highlander #19. If two or more people tie, Madi will pick the winner's name out of a hat. An interesting experiment as all of the letters had been selected by the 91st box except for both of the E's. (And her first five picks were all used in the phrase) It took 59 more picks to get the two E's. A total of 150 boxes of cereal. This would put her final purchase 745 days from June 14th which is June 29, 2008. (I don't give a shit if there is a leap year, nobody was that close)
