Thanks guys. :) I'm headed down to Gameworks in Schaumburg, IL a bit to play Derby Owner's Club and may go mini-golfing at night since I usually mini-golf on my birthday.

Oddly enough it's 92 today here, the hottest day of the year so far, and I'm thinking it's absolutely blissful temperaturewise. :D

Used to play that game religiously. Then I got sick of everyone bringing their guides and what not. Ibeat them more times then not though, which amused the hell outta me

I've never even looked at a guide and I don't want to. That takes all the fun out of the game for me. While I do really want to get some kind of rare horse, I'm not going to cheat by using the guide to find out how to improve my chances or anything. I'll just wait and see what happens. :)

FWIW, the horse I spent most of today building up has won two G1 races already and I only run her in G1 races now, though I imagine she'll be ready to retire and become a stud dam for my next generations. She's a first gen horse herself (i.e. no user-created parents).

I second this. Though at this point Gameworks is best known by my family as having a joke of a restaurant.
