I am really getting excited. We pick up our son in two days. This is our second adoption from South Korea with the first being our beautiful princess who is now two and one half. She can't wait to go get "brothee". I do wish the tensions with N. Korea would slack, but I am sure it is nothing to worry about.

We just had a Father's Day get together with our China travel group. All the girls are doing great and Langley is at the cusp of some words. Most of all she's just very happy. I'll always wish that I could have saved her that first year in the orphanage, but its great to see her accepting us as Mommy and Daddy.

Give him a hug for me and God Bless.

Thanks guys! We are down to one day and I can't wait.

Jphillips- I haven't read your blog in a little while. We will have to read it when we get back. I know what you mean about the orphanage. Our children are/were in foster homes, but they seem to hop around a little bit. Our son just had an eight day hospital stay that we weren't aware of until a couple of weeks after the fact. I can't even think about the little guy not having someone there with him during the stay without getting a little slug in the stomach. Oh well, tomorrow we bring him home!

Thanks everybody. We have had our boy for about three weeks now. It has been a whirl wind! He smiled at us as soon as he saw us, and has been the most laid back little guy. He is quick with the smile and cackles when he laughs. He really does have a sense of humor already. Big sister loves him, but has had to learn to share toys with a baby that came into her life already crawling and interested in toys. He is really attached to his mommy and is afraid that she is going to get out of her sight. Thanks again for the congrats.

Ah, missed this one while I was moving from NY to TX. Congratulations! Being an adopted from Seoul myself I know they'll appreciate what you've done. My parents adopted me in 1974 and my brother in 1977 (we're not blood-related).

Mo: Good for you guys. Langley has discovered that walking around is fun and now we chase after her half the time. Its good to hear everything is going well as I was thinking about you a few days ago.

Now post some pics!

Good for you guys MoR. Enjoy the ride.

We adopted back in 2001 and it has been the best decision (to adopt) that I've made in my life. My son is 4 now...and despite the nights I think he was put on this earth to punish me for past trangressions against my parents...he is by far the most important thing in my life. If any of you experience fertility issues (as my wife and I did), I strongly encourage the adoption route.

Thanks everybody! We are truly living a dream. I would post pics but I have never been able to figure out how everyone does this in the "what do you look like" threads.

Mo, you just need some webspace. There are free providers out there, although I don't know how easily you can hotlink from them anymore.
