And is it standard for Japanese guys to sit down when they pee? I assume that's what most of them are doing, but I guess I could be wrong.

In some Japanese homes/places, it's just a freakin' hole in the ground. When I went to Japan I missed our "American" toilets more than anything ;)

the worst part is that i will never get the last 3 minutes of my life back. the second worst sre those crazy toilets. it looked like they were riding mini motorcycles
