We have a new Comedy Central in baseball, as the AL is just looking boss vs the NL.
Tigers up 7-3 in he 5th vs the Cards, against Carpenter no less, after the Cards got owned by the White Sox.
Boy it feels good.

Of course I don't like the Cardinals losing (four in a row, sheesh), but I have to admit it's kind of cool to finally see the Tigers winning again. I hope it lasts.

That's kind of like getting excited about your JV team beating ours. :p

SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Astros have blown leads against non-AL Central teams too, so just drop it now. They are currently up 9-1. I wonder if they can blow this lead like the 5-1 lead they had in the 9th yesterday?

Astros blew it 2 nights in a row. Same way. Lidge just gave up a Grand Slam with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th. Tied game, 9-9. Extra innings start now.
Just like last night.

I am not very happy about it. I am an Astros fan.
I just purchased some tickets to see Clemens on Tuesday. I hope the Tigers can keep it up....

Probably won't help much, but as a Jays fan, Batista did this to us numerous times last year, so I know how you feel.
Well, close to this anyways, Miguel usually managed to give up the winning run in the ninth, he didn't get the game to extra innings, if he was going to blow a save, he did it all the way.

I hope the Cards win, not just because I want the Sox to lose, but because I don't want the Astros to be REALLY pissed when they come into town tomorrow facing Tiger rookie - Zach Miner.

Well, it is good to see Griffey hitting the ball so well. I've always liked him.
I'll tell you, after watching the Chi Sox and the Tigers, I will say both those teams are great to watch.
I'm going to the Cards - Indians game on Tuesday, can't wait!!
I know Detroit has the best record in baseball, but I still think the Chi Sox are the best team in the MLB so far this year. I would love to go to a game and watch Chicago and Detroit play against eachother.

Screw this, I am going to bed. I am tired, and last time I said I was staying up until an Astros game was over it went to 18 innings.

Clemens looked damn sharp tonight vs Detroit, but the Tigers score 3 off of Wheeler (two off errors, Wheeler inherited two runners from Clemens) to make it 3-0 going into the top of the 8th.
Still not over by any means but Houston fell apart.

This is so fun. Even my wife stops and watches sometimes.
My daughter of 4 even says "Go Tigers!!!" when she sees them. I'm not sure who taught her that. ;)

It was pretty damn impressive to see 40k at the ballpark tonight. I can't remember seeing that for a weekday game not involving the Yankees in a long time. Kind of a blah atmosphere early, but it got rocking in the final 3 innings.

Yeah, there was 44K+ at the Cardinals game tonight. Too bad we look like shit lately. Sorry once again Reyes, someday we'll hit the ball for you.
In other news, the Cubs, Astros, and Reds, all lost tonight.
