i was hoping angle v orton would be good...thats a headline match for some shows, so when they started with it, i thought it was promising....that didnt last long

that was fucking cool......nitro upside down in a tree of woe, benjamin about to superplex carlito from the same turnbuckle, nitro reached up and it turned into a superplex/powerbomb.

not a bad finish...carlito hits his backcracker on benjamin, before he can get the cover, nitro pulls him out of the ring, slides in and gets the count. new champ=nitro

decent finish to the wwe title match.

van dam nailed the ref with a crescent kick, lita tossed edge the spinner belt...and promptly got a van daminator with it...RVD went up to the top for a 5 star, and lita knocked him off onto his balls....edge pulled him off so his feet were on the top turnbuckle and ddt'ed him but by the time the ref got over for the cover, rvd kicked out...edge went for a spear into a chair that lita was holding in the corner, rvd moved and edge went head first into the chair...5 star, pin, rvd retains the belt

if they dont take this guys mask off at the end of this match it will go down as one of the worst gimmicks ever

real kane gets a slight advantage and goes for the mask....fake kane takes control with a side slam

this match has absolutly no pop...the crowd is currently chanting "boring"

interesting...real kane goes up to the top for his awful closeline move, fake kane catches him by the throat and goes into a choke slam and gets the pin....i guess we are doomed to endure 4 more weeks of the fake kane crap

for those that are following around, since i didnt elaborate at the top of the thread...the show opened with angle vs orton...angle pretty much owned the match, at one point hitting 8 consecutive german suplexes....orton took a turnbuckle cover off, followed by an angle slam....angle put the ankle lock on, and had it locked in for about 30 seconds, so the match was basically all angle for about 5 minutes....after probably 45 seconds total of the ankle lock, orton did the gay roll through throw angle across the ring to break the ankle lock that always happens, and angle was headed towards the ropes, but suddenly changed directions and went face first into the exposed turnbuckle, turned around dazed, and orton was amazingly up and delivered an RKO to get the pin.....i hate orton.....he gets his ass kicked every match and then miraculously recovers to hit his move.

next up, cena vs sabu in the extreme lumberjack match...10 raw LJ and 10 ECW LJ

lukewarm reception for cena...he got a lot of boos until he came out of the curtain, then got a pretty good pop.

sabu is pwning this match thus far, courtesy of a steel chair....he has used it for a couple of his triple jump moves and an arabian facebuster

the lumberjacks are now pounding the piss out of cena on the outside, dreamer and sandman are about to put him through a table....sabu went for a triple jump to put cena through a table on the floor, and cena cought him with the kane

big fuck up for the ending....the table that cena was on on the outside of the ring was running lenthwise away from the ring, instead of alongside it.....cena F U'ed sabu from inside the ring onto the table, but since it was set up in that position, sabu landed right over the legs, instead of in the middle...the END of the table broke off as it collapsed longways ...the lumberjacks threw sabu right back in and cena locked in the STFU for the submission win

I mean, Edge caused Cena's loss to RVD at One Night Stand, then Edge wins the belt, making it very logical for Cena to chase him (and take the belt from him for revenge).

If Cena wins it back from RVD, then Edge chases him, it just seems to remove the potential obvious motivation described above. All that's left then is the notional "I want the title" motivation, which is pretty rare any more.

3 ss guys were just trying to hold michaels up for nicky to use the trampoline on him..michaels moved and nicky hit the other 3 ss guys instead, leaving kenny alone in the ring with both dx....HHH hit the pedigree as mikey came in for the save and got some sweet chin music....dx got side by side covers for the win, and one by one the rest of ss came in and got either pedigreed or SCM as well

when cena was talking to RVD, he did the whole " you didnt just take my title, you took my life, you took everything" routine...so that plays a little bit better with the set up you described

I watched it too. Thought the IC and World Title matches were good, and the rest sucked.

Vince had a funny heel part where he pushed a kid in a wheelchair (while saying something like he's going on a highway to hell) out his door... and it ended up being Coachman's friend of the family instead of some DX antics... :)

Meh. This PPV was disappointing enough. ONS2 was a joy to behold though.
