Pretty close contest this time. The winner was in doubt up until the last few votes were in. Here's the results...

1. How old should a man be before he gets married?

12 - 25 years old
8 - 30 years old
2 - 27 years old
1 - 24 years old
1 - 23 years old
1 - 21 years old
1 - 20 years old
1 -18 years old

I was suprised at how many people chose 30. I know it's a nice, round number (and IWS craves those), but it seems a but old to me.

2. What's the perfect number of groomsmen and bridemaids to have before a wedding party becomes becomes too damn big (total, including best man and maid-of-honor)?

11 - 8 people
5 - 10 people
5 - 6 people
3 - 5 people
2 - 4 people
1 - 0 people

Pretty decent distribution there.

3. Which wedding gift will the bride and groom receive the most duplicates of?

8 - Dishes/China/Dinnerware
5 - Towels
3 - Toasters
2 - Gift Cards
2 - Blenders
1 - Silverware
1 - Cash
1 - Cups
1 - Flowers
1 - Crockpots
1 - Coffee makers
1 - Sheets

Another one with decent distribution. And I probably would have been shut out in this round...my brother and sis-in-law keep telling us how we're going to get TONS of picture frames even if we don't register for them. Joy...

4. How much does the average wedding cake cost?

8 - $500
6 - $100
3 - $1000
2 - $150
2 - $300
1 - $750
1 - $600
1 - $350
1 - $250
1 - $200
1 - "Too much."

I wish wedding cakes only cost $100 bucks... :(

5. On which item or service is the most money spent for the average wedding?

9 - Catering/Food
7 - Reception hall
5 - Bride's dress
4 - Alcohol
1 - The Ring
1 - Pictures

I had to make a couple of tough choices on this one, but I wound up counting "Reception" as "Reception hall" and not lumping it in with "Food".

6. Which month is the best to hold a wedding?

17 - June
7 - May
1 - July
1 - August
1 - " Depends on which sport your least likely to miss."

I was expecting a better showing from May. June just ran away with this sucker...

There wasn't anyone with a perfect score. Heck, the best score was below 38%. Goes to show you that either stupid doesn't know weddings or my questions were too vague. On to the results...

Congrats to maple Leafs on his SIXTH IWS win! Man, ML is almost as stupid as me (but nowhere near as stupid as Quik)...

Cool, I'm a random wedding idiot. Lurker already knew that, though.

I didn't play but you know flatware is silverware, not china/dishes?

8 - Dishes/China/Flatware

Nope, didn't know that. I don't think anyone actually used that term now that I go looking, though. I think "dinnerware" is what was used and what I meant to put there...

Crap, I would've won this one. I played along afterwards and nailed 4 of the 6 top answers, along with a 2nd and a 3rd. That sux.

Pretty decent distribution there.
I forgot that we weren't on the metric system here in the US. I'm guessing this is what cost me a victory.
