From People.com:
Former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff is "fine" after undergoing surgery for an injury he suffered during a shaving accident, his rep said Friday.
Hasselhoff severed a tendon in his right arm while shaving in the bathroom of a gym in the Sanderson Hotel in London on Thursday. The actor hit his head on a chandelier, which showered his arm with broken glass, his publicist, Judy Katz, told the Associated Press.
Doctors operated on the injured tendon and Hasselhoff, 53, spent just one night at St. Thomas' Hospital in central London, Katz said.
"He's fine," Katz said. "He's out of the hospital and will resume filming tomorrow."
Hasselhoff is working on an ad campaign for Pipex, a British internet company, she said. He is also currently a celebrity judge on the NBC reality show America's Got Talent.
I am thoroughly confused, he was shaving, hit his head on a chandelier and the glass sliced a tendon in his arm? Don't chandeliers usually hang above you? Was he standing on a ladder while shaving? Jumping up and down? I'm sure someone here will be able to clear this up for me...
