NBA Trivia (Can't find an answer.)

I thought of a great NBA trivia question, but can't find an answer...

The season is 82 games. Has any player ever played in, or even started in more than 82 regular season games in one season? To do this one would have to be traded to, or released and signed to a team that has played in less games than his previous team has played.

I'm sure its happened at least a few times. I know there have been baseball players who have played in more than 162 regular season games.

an NFL player could theoretically play 17 games i guess, but i wonder if that's actually happened. I'm guessing "no" simply because there really aren't ever any deadline trades in the NFL these days.

I think an oilers RB did it once, he got traded to the falcons, or vice versa.
