I just had Serbia defeat Romania in the 2008 Euro Championship game to win the Euros. Is that officially weirder than Greece winning in 2k4?

Even Wierder, take a look at this -
In the Semi Finals, Serbia defeated Ukraine and Romania took out England. That means three Eastern Europe teams were in the final four.
Top three players in the tournament - A Serbian, a Ukrainian, and another Ukrainian. The Serbian won the Best Player Award and the two Ukrainians got the runner ups.
Golden Boot for the Euros? A different Serbian. Runner's up? A Romanian and Rooney from England.
Eastern Europe dominated this tourney.

I do not think that is totally out of the realm of possibilities. It is sort of odd that three of the four were from eastern Europe. It also seems odd that England was one of the final four. :)

Were you using 5 minute quarters?

Na-hah. Got the Ukrainian job.
I started as a Ghanian with a full Ghana slate of players, cause I wanted to play an African side, but when their opening came up a year ago, they went with another coach. I've been coaching in the Ukraine High league for three years and won the Ukraine Cup each year, so Ukraine now has a Ghanian manage for their national side :)

So FM accurately models the creeping influence of Eastern European money on FIFA referees? Interesting....
