I decided to install this firewall since ZoneAlarm was giving me some fits, I have to say, I love this application.

Since I do not use Firefox, it helps out a lot on the ad blocking front, I am no longer viewing the ads when I have this running, I am now happy....

Yeah, it's great. I've been using it for 3 years. Anyway, if you have the free version I think the web filter will "expire" at some point.

MacroGuru - were you getting weird Windows errors with your ZoneAlarm? My PC has been acting oddly ever since the last build update from ZoneAlarm, and the zlclient package is having to be terminated by Windows on shutdown rather than closing itself out normally.

Then again, when ZA starts acting weirdly, it's often hard to tell if it's something in ZA or if it's the latest Windows update that's futzing with it. Windows and ZA don't always get along well. :)

Yeah I was, and the last two pieces of Software I installed (NFL Head Coach and Authorware) I had to uninstall ZoneAlarm, not just turn it off, but uninstall it.
