This should be a good card, at least on paper...here are my predictions on the fights i'm interested in..

Yves Edwards Vs. Joe Stevenson

This should be Joe's fight, he has looked shaky in a couple bouts lately, but Yves doesnt have the grappling ability to handle Joe on the ground, nor does he have the strength to keep it from there. I'll stevenson by Sub.

Dan Christison Vs. Frank Mir

Ah yes, how sad is the UFC Heavyweight division? Frank Mir is handfed poor Dan Christison here....Dan is a gamer, but simply put hes not even close to being in Mir's league....Mir could eithier TKO him or submit him, its a given eitheir way.

Tito Ortiz Vs. Ken Shamrock

Ah, the grude match....alothough i'm not sure what warrented a rematch, seeing as how Ortiz absolutely administered a beating to Ken in thier first match. That aside, i'll stick pick Shamrock here...hes got heart and he has motivation...Ortiz hasnt looked exactly like the feared striker he built his rep on....I'm picking Shamrock by decision

Andre Arlovski Vs. Tim Sylvia
For the UFC Heavyweight championship

In my opinion, Sylvia was plan lucky last time, and had Arlovski kept his cool this match wouldnt be taking place...however, Sylvia's reign is at an end. Arlovski is faster, a better striker, and far exceeds Sylvia's ground game. Arlovski regains the title.

I hope Arlovski brings back the werewolf/vampire motif and rips Sylvia to shreds.

I think the Stevenson/Edwards fight is gonna fun fight and probably pretty easily the best on the show.

Ortiz/Shamrock is total hype and it's just amazing to see the way they've sold this fight. I've said it before but it amazes me how UFC has gotten so good at booking real fights compared to how North American wrestling companies book fake fights. UFC has built these 2 fighters to the point where they'll likely get upwards of 400/500,000 buys for this show.

It'll be interesting to see where the company goes from here as this ostensibly ends their big run built off the 2nd and 3rd seasons of TUF. I think if Tito wins it's likely that 2 or 3 shows from now they build to Tito vs Chuck again.

I imagine that they're also trying to build Anderson Silva or Mike Swick to fight Franklin pretty soon.

If Tito wins, he's defintely still in the contender hunt. I agree on that.
