I know someone else recently posted looking for help planning a night out for him and his wife...

Looking for something for us to do the end of July. Been throwing around all the obvious ones (stay at a hotel, etc). Even considered dinner and a movie, since with a 2 year old, the last thing we saw in theaters was Meet the Fockers.

Also, she's about 7 1/2 months (and 8 months at the time of the anniversary) pregnant with our 2nd child, so that rules out any bar crawls, etc.

buy her a cookbook and vacume cleaner, and yourself a trip to Vegas.

seriously though, she will be pretty big at the time of your anniversary so a meal at her favorite resturant and and then head home where you do all the chores while she rests her tired feet might be what she wants. get some women in here who have given birth for better answers

She already has that...she admits she's spoiled.

Get a great hotel room for the night, prepare a bubble bath with candles and rosepetals, let her relax and give her a back rub/massage...or have a masseuse come in and give you both massages.

Actually, she has a massage waiting...from her birthday in February. She kept putting off scheduling it, to the point that it would be totally uncomfortable to be in any position other than laying on her back (see above, 8 months preg). So, normally I think she'd go for that...but in this situation, probably not.

Is dinner/movie a poor effort...because, as I said earlier, we haven't done that is SO long, it might actually seem like a big deal.
