The Project of McBrain, Spitz and Ellefson Announce Vocalist and Band Name

You may have heard RJ Stone and AJ Motts on Dysfuncshyn Juncshyn here on KNAC.COM, Saturdays, from 7PM - 12AM (PST) teasing you about the newly-formed project consisting of drummer Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden), guitarist Dan Spitz (ex-Anthrax) and bassist David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth)....
The band announces their name as "7 X 70" (Seven Times Seventy). RJ Stone describes it as "really hard and really heavy."

And 7 X 70 proudly announces their lead vocalist.... (drum roll, please!):

Vanilla Ice!

Yes, you read this right! More info and details to come in the very near future!"

It's a pity, because I like Ellefson. Spitz is an idiot, and McBrain, aside from being one ugly dude, has a wife who owns (or used to own) a lingerie store in Coral Springs, so he's OK in my book. What they hope to accomplish with that moron "singing" for them, I don't know. I guess publicity, for one thing, which I've given them.

As odd as this news is, I think it is topped by the fact that Metallica is going on a summer tour with Lincoln Park and Limp Bizkit. What's next, are they going to start hanging out and playing XBox with a bunch of 15 year olds? Can you say Mid-Life Crisis?

I think the 3 bands are a perfect fit. Is it going to be called the No Longer Relevant Tour?

I just bought the recently-released Binge and Purge CD/DVD set (re-released on DVD instead of VHS). Just to remember the good ole' days. I've been seeking out any old bootlegs I can find as well. You know, back when they didn't just play the first 3 minutes of Master of Puppets?
