Titans | Jones hosting NFL Millionaire's Club party
Fri, 14 Jul 2006 05:36:11 -0700
Paul Kuharsky, of the Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans CB Adam Jones is reportedly hosting a party at Visions Nightclub & Lounge in Atlanta Friday evening July 14. The club is billing Jones as the host and Titans' rookie QB Vince Young and RB LenDale White as his special guests for a bash called "The NFL New Millionaire's Club." Titans General Manager Floyd Reese said he knew nothing about the event. "This is the first time I've heard of it," he said. "You have to keep in mind those guys may not have anything to do with it, it could be some club just trying to sell a party. I just have no idea." The party coincides with a football camp Jones, a native of Atlanta, is part of in Southwest Atlanta today and Saturday, July 15.

Pacman Jones is hosting a "New NFL millionaires" party in a Atlanta nightclub Friday, with special guests Vince Young and LenDale White.
Good to see Pacman showing the young turks what life in the NFL is all about. The Dress Code is "Sexy" (seriously), and $20 will get fellas in the door. Ladies, don't worry. Admission is free for before 11 PM. Start ridin dirty on 85 early!

I'm sure it's just a big party and the name is just a joke to get people in ire. If any of us had come into big money like that, surely we'd have a party to celebrate with friends.
But it just wouldn't necessarily have a name. Not sure how this is a news story...

because I'm sure 99% of the nfl rookies have parties. these 3 amigos chose to make a spectacle of themselves. Maybe they have trouble getting women...dunno.
for some reason I can picture the vets looking at them like asshats.
to me it's just an amusing thing and the fact my reaction is to laugh AT them is why it's noteworthy.

True. It's not going to endear them to their new teammates.

Uninteresting Tidbit: Pacman is nicknamed for the way he drank from the bottle as a baby. It reminded his mother of the game Pacman. (I know this because they said it everytime WVU had a televised game during hist time there)

I think i'll just name my kid Pacman. Then he can acquire a nickname like "Joe."

I suppose a nickname like "The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind" Jones or "Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose" Jones just doesn't have that nice succint ring to it.

I confess, I looked it up for accuracy. I have the game sitting around in my room but I couldn't do the complete subtitle with accurate spelling and words. ;)
