I have no idea where this question came from - just popped into my mind.

I've got my left ear pierced twice - one that I did myself with a needle when I was 16, and a second hole a bit higher up that I had done professionally (if you can call getting it done by some minimum wage chick at the mall "professionally") when I was 18.

For whatever reason, I don't picture a ton of earring wearing dudes hanging out here...

I've been asking the same question, and yet i can't find an answer

2 in my left ear and 1 in the right. My first one came during a ski trip back in 86 by a girl that I had just met and was hot for. What can I say, I’m weak. The others followed before high school graduation. Funny thing is that even though they are still open I haven't had any earrings in since my college days over 10 years ago. Maturity has set in and I no longer need earrings to look cool, or is it that I am so old and un-cool that earrings no longer does the trick. O'well. :rolleyes:

I got one in my left ear for my 18th birthday. I had wanted one for a couple years but my parents wouldn't allow it until I turned 18. Sure enough, on my birthday I went over to my best friend's house (who happens to be one of those minimum waged girls at Claire's) and got it done.

And damn I look good because of it.

Got my left ear pierced the day after my 14th birthday. (I was supposed to wait until I was 16, but my cousin pierced it for me early. She took the earring, put ice on my my ear for about 30 seconds and then just shoved the earing in - made an interesting noise).

So I have now had it pierced more than half my life.

Well first, you have to have it erect to get it pierced. Enough said. Then, for the first like month, whenever he'd get wood it'd bleed.
