Is it time to start approving memberships?

A lot of spambots seem to be targeting the board.. maybe if a mod had to approve their account to get posting priviliges (or there's a 48-72 hour wait period to be able to post) this shit would slow down?

Let me look into approved accounts. I've done it before. If all mods can approve an account, and some are willing to get e-mails every time a new account is created, then I'll definitely set it up.
