Anyone have? I've been thinking of grabbing it for old times sake.

I have it. I just bought the second expansion for it, but I haven't installed it yet.

Yes, but even with the expansions it still has very poor sim AI. Prior to the expansions it had brokenly unplayable bad AI, now its just poor.

in all seriousness, unless Mrs. Lathums computer is pretty good, you dont have a machine that can handle it....pretty sure you need a decent 3d video card.

why would you consider this a high end system? I have 5 computers in my house that blow this out of the water. these specs seem very low to me.

oh, and on topic my wife plays the hell out of RCT2 and she was playing the demo of 3 today - it looked pretty good, but she plays that game way more then I ever would.

RCT3 is a playable game, but it works mostly as a design game, instead of a challenge game. The original RCT had wonderful and challenging scenarios, but the scenarios just don't cut it for me, even the ones you can design on your own.

As for the video card, you'll need a better one for the Water Park expansion than for the original. Radeon's have a bit of a problem with the water effects. There is a fix, but you will suffer performance as a result.

and, fwiw, my laptop will run a lot of current mid-range games (Dungeon Siege 2, Civ 4, etc) pretty well. But It didn't like RTC3, unless I turned down the graphics down to a point where it wasn't fun.
