Pulling for the Mets, Girls Gone Wild and the Cubs.

Talk about living in fantasy.

Braves winning the title this year. Hows that for some realism.

My favorite logo of all-time is that Brewer glove with the subliminol M & B.

Yet my current hat that I wear is the classic 70's Braves hat with the blue and white, and the red little a.

Go Dodgers! With the current divisional format, purely from a rivalry standpoint, the ultimate season would have the Dodgers beat the Cardinals in the NLDS, the wild-card Giants in the NLCS, and the Yankees in the World Series. :D

i've been thinking the same thing myself. Seems the boss is going crazy which is great. I think(hope?) the cuban guy and Matsui are overrated. Clemens and Wells are old men. Rivera's elbow is hurting. Jeter's been going down hill the last few years. Soriano had a career year. Bernie is on his last legs. Pettitte's health is a question mark. Posada is overated and the infield and outfield defense is weak. Looks like the yanks are destin for a last place struggle with the D-Rays :D

haha I can dream can't i?

Trying to think of the baseball teams that I hate. It's not as easy as with the NFL. I hate the Yankees, dislike the Braves, Cardinals, Reds, Mets...I guess that's really about it. There are a few that are a little on my bad side (Padres for beating my Astros in the playoffs a couple years ago and Phillies for stealing Bobby Abreu from us), but not too many.

I kinda like the Rockies (lived in Colorado when they first started playing), Red Sox (my great uncle was a scout for them), and Rangers (kinda happens living in the Metroplex). Of course, none of them will ever touch my love of the Astros.

I'm with you. Of course I also miss the time when I could really enjoy baseball. Back when the game was fun.

Anyway, I'll always pull for the Bravos. It is so funny to me, remembering the horrors that were the 70's and 80's Braves, to see how many people hate them now out of jealousy. Never thought I would see the day.

It wasn't the Brewers' incompetence that drove me from MLB (although it didn't help), just the millionaires and billlionaires bitching about their money problems.

Ah yes, the old mitt and ball logo ... the greatest logo in the history of sports. The Brewers made the brilliant decision in 1994 to switch logos because they thought the new purple and gold colors would bring them lots of money. After all, the gangbangers (or wannabes) would proudly wear this new crap. They took a good thing and ruined it. Kind of like what MLB has done to baseball.

When the Brewers hired an attorney (Ulice Payne) as their new pres, a friend of mine suggested starting a petition to bring back the old logo. It would have been a good idea had I given a crap anymore.

Uhm, Bobby Abreu was taken in the expansion draft by, I believe, the Dbacks, we traded Kevin Stocker to the Dbacks to acquire him....so your Astros made him expendable.
