Hi guys,

Can someone in the US just tune on ESPN and let me know what's on, right now ?
it's 0:30am CET and on my ESPN channel, I currently have some sort of "highschool cheerleaders" competition show, "National Dance Team" or something...

My channel is called "ESPN Live", does that exist ?

If just someone could tell me if this is REALLY what you guys in the US currently have on ESPN....

Thanks a million...

Strange...when I was in Paris last month the only thing I could get on the TV was soft core pr0n.

Which is strange as well, since "ESPNStar" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESPN_Star_Sports) is apparently supposed to be the feed for Asia, while Europe is supposed to get something called "ESPN Classic" (http://www.espnclassic.com/fs.asp?l=2) but it's a totally different "Classic" than the one that airs here in the U.S.

nah, we indeed receive ESPN Classic over here (but that's not the US version so no football for instance). it's mostly shitty programs.

What happened is that I got (paid for actually, which is why I said I had been "robbed) a PC software called "Satellite PC" which was supposed to give you hundreds of channels (which it actually does) but also ESPN, ABC, NBC etc..

Bottom line was: living in France and having no access to US channels, I am forever looking for a way to watch NFL games from where I live...
The guy from "Satellite PC" sent me an email saying : "yeah, do not worry, we have ESPN, ABC and NBC, it's soooo coool".

All right...I pony up the money, install the player...and instead, here is what I have:

ESPN Star Sports (cheerleaders contests and Snooker)
ABC News
NBC Weatherplus.

LOLOL, I feel so idiot....
Of course, I'm asking for a refund, without much hope that I'll get paid back.

You'd think with today's technology it would be easier to get US programming in Paris. :(

Because of their strong and continued military and political support we should make that a priority, its the least we could do.

you bet...I still don't quite get it why TV networks don't use their own websites to offer online subscriptions where you can watch their programs online, from their websites.

For instance, we all know that ESPN is a private network...ok...now they could earn themselves million more viewers/revenues by offering the ESPN subscription online where for, say, $15/month (or even $30 a month), you can watch the live feed of ESPN, online, from www.espn.com (http://www.espn.com)

I don't understand why we still don't have this...
