Hey guys,
Long time lurker, rare poster here. I was just wondering what sites all y'all soccer fans use. I know Sky and Espn soccer are alright, but I was wondering if y'all had any other good sites or blogs or anything.

Well, it's not nice to send "like a dog" wandering into BigSoccer without fair warning... even if he is a lurker ;).

Take FOFC... multiply by like... oh, 500 ;).
We have a far greater proportion of people who are more realistic about sports (especially about, say, US Soccer and ESPN's role in US Soccer ;)) than over at BS. As for politics, that's something else entirely different (and something I don't look at in BS).

Football365 is fun, although a little too much "Players make too much money, wah!". I love the The Guardian's coverage of English football and football in general as well.

I generally use:
teamtalk.com
bbc.co.uk
For general football news, nearly every club will have specific 'fan' sites which are great for hardcore supporters or just rumour mill gossip - you'll also find now and again (on slow news days especially) gossip from one of these fans sites will jump up to one of the mainstream football sites (such as teamtalk) and be treated as reality .... quite funny and cool to see, especially if you know its rubbish ;)

was gonna point you to bbc.co.uk but Marc beat me to it. I like their news feed and their live reports when matches are in progress...

I think The Guardian has the funniest writing.

Yeah I like the simplicity of their website, do you hear that ESPN???
They are also really quick with news items and I also like their live match reports as well.

I'd also add a vote for the BBC, though it's coverage is obviously heavily slanted towards English soccer.
Not a website, but the Rumour Mill weekly podcast from BBC Radio Five is also very good.
edit to avoid a dola - The Phil Ball (Spain) and Uli Hesse-Lichtenberger (Germany) articles on soccernet.com are always good, but too infrequent. The German guy's book about the history of German soccer is great too.
Also anything by Gabriele Marcotti (writes for The Times and The Sunday Herald) is worth reading, he's always on the ball, you can almost forgive the fact that he's a Chelsea fan. Almost.

He also writes for SI.com. And yes, he is blatantly a Chelsea fan.

Thanks, didn't know he wrote for SI.com. I always enjoy his stuff, so I'll be looking out for it.
He's also on ChelseaTV (Which is shown on Setanta). He doesn't even try to fake impartiality when he's on that :)
