Welcome to Highlander, the game where each winner hosts the next game. The goal of a Highlander game is to create a small game where answers are pm'd to the host, and only one person will win. There can be only one winner in Highlander.

Ok so this is back to the random number idea. My little league (http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=48645) team was the inspiration for this Highlander. Our team had no power and it seemed like all we ever did was hit singles and get walks. Our games were six innings long. Using the batting order and OBP below tell me how many runs will the team score in our simulated six inning game? Assume that each player only advances 1 base each time another player gets on. Three outs ends the inning.

#1 - .524
#2 - .579
#3 - .409
#4 - .421
#5 - .478
#6 - .583
#7 - .565
#8 - .550
#9 - .556
#10 - .500
#11 - .571
#12 - .182

Closest answer wins. If there's a tie, I'll randomly pick the winner. There can be only one Highlander!

Please put your guess right in the title of the pm.

Answers due by 6 PM central tomorrow.

And remember...there can be only one!

Ooh, this is a really, really good one. I'll need some time to come up with a guess.

In the first inning:

1st inning: First three batters get on. Then an out. A runner is driven home, but then two outs occur. 1 run.

2nd inning: Leadoff baserunner followed by two outs. The runner gets to
second and it looks like our #12 hitter might get a hit, but alas just misses. Still 1 run

3rd inning: First five players all reach scoring two runs. It's an out, then another run, then an out. Then there is an absolute SQUEAKER of a player scoring yet antoher run before the inning ends. But not before 5 runs score. 6 runs all together.

4th inning: After two outs the leadoff batter gets on, but nothing gets going. Still 6 runs.

5th inning: After an out by the first batter, the next two reach easily. However, two outs follow and so the score remains at 6 runs.

6th inning: Once again there is only one batter who reaches base.

So in the end the team scores 6 runs. We all know that in Highlander there can only be one winner and that winner is Brian D who guessed our sad sack of a team would score 7 runs. Congrats to our sole winner.
