this could be it for Newberry

he will be missed, not so much on the field since he is ALWAYS hurt

But in Madden he will be missed greatly, somehow despite almost never playing in the previous 4-5 years he is always rated 90+ OVR. For a team as talent starved as the Niners having a perennial pro bowler always a big plus.

What? Did he get hit in the back of the head with an errant Alex Smith pass or something? What happened to him? I clicked every word in this post to find a link to information, and I didn't get anything. What am I missing here? :(

I didn't post a link because I don't think most people care about an overated C on the worst team in football. I was more making the comment concerning Madden becasue he is always really good in Madden, always makes multiple Pro Bowls - too bad he can't stay healthy IRL.

I doubt that the team has really expected him to play the whole season anyway. I hope the best for him but it will be no surprise if he never plays again.
