This is kind of hard to write for a number of reasons...radii and I have been separated for a little over a month, and in the past few days have decided that it's best for both of us to begin divorce proceedings. There was no major event that caused this, neither of us hate the other person and are both hoping to remain friendly through all of this and be able to maintain a friendship of some sorts after all is said and done.

Anthony and I have moved in with my parents, and unfortunately, they are not willing to let us bring Leo, our dog over here. Radii is not a dog person and once the lease on our house is up, will be moving into an apartment. I need to find someone who would be willing to take Leo on a (hopefully) temporary basis. I am hoping to not be at my parents house very long, and am thinking of moving to get a "fresh start" with Anthony...I don't see us being here more than 3 - 6 months, and then I am hoping to be able to get Leo back with us.

So anyway, if anyone here would be willing, or knows someone who would be willing to take in a dog for a few months, please PM me. I will provide all the food, toys, etc...that he will need. He is very sweet, a little hyper at first but then settles in and is just a big love bug. He is a Shepard/Husky mix, about 50 lbs, but most of his weight is in his bones and muscles, he isn't a large dog.

Thanks guys!!!!

I can't help you with your dog problem, but good luck to you and Radii both in this difficult time.

Is it impolite to make a joke? Sure enough, oliegirl starts a thread, and waddyaknow it's about two well-known people getting divorced.

Seriously, good luck to both of you.

Too bad I'm not in the Atlanta area, as apparently recently we have become the local boarding house for my fiance's friends ;)...

Best of luck to the both of you, and while one more dog around here wouldn't make much of a difference we're not in Atlanta.

In any case, the wishes extend to the both of you and Anthony as well.

I don't see why not. Hopefully, everyone behaves like adults in the thread and it'll be fine.

Exactly. It's not like other people don't post about their personal lives, and she is not trashing Radii or anyone else in any way.

Best of luck to both of you, I'm sorry things didn't work out.

FWIW, this isn't just Oliegirl's doing or anything, I knew what was going on too ;) Basically we both have a lot of friends here and everyone here knows we are married, so it just makes natural sense to inform friends of this kind of thing. Also, I want to reinforce that everything is very amicable and we both very strongly want it to stay that way, just to try to squash/limit any idea of "oh well I like Oliegirl/Radii better so I am going to be mean to the one I dont like better" from the peanut gallery here...

Is the dog house broken? Would he be patient with a 3 year old?

Good luck. If we didn't already have two rambunctious huskies, two kids on the way, or live so far away, we might have been able to help!
