There has to be some catch here. Has anyone played the free version on sportsline?

I thought it was always a pay to play service. Is it just not customizable? The advertisement says live scoring, analysis, and management tools. I feel like I just got robbed. I paid the $129.95 site fee, when I could've just had everyone sign up for free!

While I am not entirely sure, the issue is one of customization. You had to play under their basic rules. If you don't mind the CBS rules, then you could do just what you described above.
