I'm curious as to how MP works in WWSM, also. How do we interact with the other managers? I realize it will take some time to catch on, but how about some pointers from those that have played MP already.

I've never played online, but I know join network game is one of the options in the main menu. I assume we we put in the IP address of the host computer into that and connect. I don't think you actually need to download the savegame file although it will help so you can get familiar with your team.

For those who haven't looked at the holiday options:

We(well, CW anyway) can set the players not there on holiday, with these options as instructions:

Apply for managerial positions at higher reputation clubs

Accept All offers for players
Only Accept offers matching asking price
Reject All offers
Only Sell Transfer listed players (This is available as an option on all the above)

Bid for Players on your shortlist
Do not bid on any players

Use Current Match tactics
Use current Team Selection when possible

CW will need your password to do all this I believe.

I sorted them by expected league finish more or less. I learned this past season in my Luton career that "respectable league position" is better than 7th, as I finished 7th and my board was disappointed with the team's performance, heh. I also realized there were two sort of relegationg related goals, "stay clear of" and "fight bravely against". Quite a few teams had the goal of "investing in new players and start rebuilding the team" although I have now clue as to what kind of league position expectation this could lead to so I put them right after the "safe mid-table" finishers...

Yeah, you can. With the whole league being human players, I'd be shocked to see us all last the season with our original clubs. Firings, maybe some managers getting hired by better clubs, contracts not getting renewed, etc.

dola, CW, I was wondering if there would be any way for you to open up the server midweek at a known day/time but locking the "continue" button so that if anybody would want to do scouting and/or run the tedious tasks like setting training, lineups and such, they could do it without having the game "go grey" (aka processing) on them.

Also, could somebody give a suggestion how to avoid the screen change after each continue. I would be altering training, and then a continue would happen, and then I would go back to the manager default screeen. By the time I worked my way back it was almost time for another continue. Thankfully that's done. I'd imagine that issue is unavoidable. I'll be happy when we are well on our way so there isn't so much to do. Starting an FM game (even SP) is always a drag for me.
