This is preseason right; so why is your starting QB out playing all your other QBs by a (2 - 1) ration? Brett has attempted 57 passes while the rest of the Packers QBs have only thrown 28.

I was waiting to see what Aaron Rodgers could do this preseason, but for some reason the Packers are playing Favre well into the 3rd quarter for all their games.

I know of no other team that is even close to this (2 - 1) ratio for their starting QB compared to the rest of the team. And, with a veteran like Favre you would expect the exact opposite. Could this be an early attempt by the front office to try and quiet a QB controversy in Green Bay?

I wonder if the Packers are even allowing Rodgers to practice.:)

Maybe they want to get Favre nicked so they can IR him, yet still get the benefit of his high cohesion, position leader affinity, and mentoring skills.

Oh, wait...

Because the Packers are terrified of Favre.

Maybe because Aaron Rodgers sucks that bad?

I'm pretty sure Favre runs the Packers organization. All the coaches and such is all part of his cover.

New system, line, WRs that aren't familiar with Favre and Favre coming off a bad season. Keep in mind too that the Packers are on an extremely short schedule this week. (Played Monday/Play again Friday afternoon) I think the coaching staff knows that the starters probably won't get any time of significance so, they are probably playing it as if they only had 3 games to prepare.

Because no one has the "fill in body part here" to bench Favre.

Maybe because Aaron Rodgers sucks that bad?

He did look pretty bad in the Bengals game before the rain delay.

If Rodgers is that bad that he can't even get time in the second half of a preseason, they may as well cut him as get someone else on the roster.

Because the Packers are terrified of Favre.

LOL.

Actually after seeing and listening to McCarthy I fear the Packers have hired a Ray Handley level coach.
