FYI for any Phil Hendrie fans..

The Phil Hendrie Show is no more (Phil has retired from Radio to concentrate on Television... BOOOOO!!!)

But for Phil fans out there, near 24 hour a day free streaming is available (one of my must have's at work)..

http://www.kbloradio.com

Two channels of streaming. Pretty darn cool!!

Note: I posted this on a old thread concerning radio programs, but I didn't realize that that thread was in the Archive section.. Heck, I forgot FOFC even had an archive section (I never make it down that far on the main board selection page). :)

Hey now.. I did a Phil Hendrie search at FOFC before posting to see if this was needed..

Just thought I'd pass it along, as I know that there are a lot of radio fans out there.

So we can look forward to you starting a thread on it in a few months?

Was Phil Hendrie the late night guy on 750AM in Atlanta in the early 90's? I think he was, but I'm not sure.

I liked his show at one time, but much like Stern's show, it is just repetative and just not that great anymore. Don't get me wrong, this show was a fantastic premise that enjoyed a lot of popularity, but it's the kind of show where once it's run it's course, it's run it's course, and that's pretty much it.

I believe it was a short run sometime in late '92 or early '93.

edit to add: Or maybe '91 -'92, according to the usually excellent WSB History page (http://www.wsbhistory.com/1990s_people.htm) (run by Mike Kavanaugh, who was at WSB long enough to know)
