I'm currently watching the HC's presentation of The Mexican- American War.
I thought it was well timed since this is next weeks topic for my Hist of US foreign Relations class.

The documentary, I feel is pretty non biased presenting both POV's quite well.
I think its going to be shown again all weekend.:)

Dola: The re enactments of the battle and the heavy use of primary resources I feel added some depth into this programming. Giving one an insight of the fighting and its aftermath. Also has a bit of political intrigue (Polk, Taylor, and Scott debacle) and Santa Anna trying to quel a civil war and the US invasion.

I'm surprised they didnt interview John S.D. Eisenhower, who wrote So Far From God -According to many historians The Greatest One Volume History- of the war.
