..So what now for the Beavers (Classic Name by the Way :D) ?
Do they go back to their what was 3 or 4 Decade Long trip to the Crapper?.. No Pun intended C-Tac ;)..
It'll be interesting to see just what happens to that program.. Especially considering the program being established currently down the road in Eugene..

I'll gladly accept the head coaching job.

I don't know if they go back into the crapper, but any shot at continually challenging for the PAC 10 is gone, I think. The competition for the best coaches is pretty high. They were riding Erickson's name as much as his coaching ability. They may find another guy who can coach, but can they find one who can bring in the talent?
On a related note, Kansas State should now easily retain the title of the best JUCO grad school football power.

Now that is funny.. They've got to do something to be competitive in the kind of middle of nowhere place that Manhattan, Kansas is.

Yup, drop the academic requirements to the floor, take every JUCO kid they can find and then play a non conference schedule that includes 2 of the worst programs in America. . . and you'll be a top 15 team every year too. :)
I think KState could be pretty special this year. Still, I don't like them at all. I like programs that have the guts to play anyone and everyone, anywhere/anytime. They don't fit that bill.

Not sure if anyone still cares, but Mike Riley was re-hired for the Beaver job...
