How would you go about doing this?

Would it be possible to buy a video card with the required inputs, wire your console up to the video card, and then display the output from the console on your PC monitor using a display application of some sort? Or would it be far more difficult than that?

Now that I think about it, would it be possible to wire your console straight up to a PC monitor and play?

If your computer has an S-video input/output, I'm thinking that may be all you need to play the console on the computer. I think virtually every laptop made in the last 2-3 years has one. So, no hard wiring or video card needed, just a 3 dollar S-video cord that usually comes with the console package. Admittedly, I'm guessing on this.

I have a USB video adapter. It has video and audio RCA connections on one end and plugs into a USB port. Cost me around AUS$100 at Harvey Norman a couple of years ago so I'm sure they are cheaper now.
