So far it seems harder than earlier iterations and I love the graphics. I'll play some more tomorrow night.

Finally downloaded it and played for a little bit. I'll reserve my judgements on the difficulty because it was easy to birdie every hole and I haven't played the game since '03 or '04. I got 2 eagle chip-in's also and this was only on 5 rounds of the 4 holes you can play. Putting doesn't seem hard, but I was within 5 feet of the pin most of the time. Very nice graphics.

I pretty much lost interest once I saw the commercial that featured a shot bouncing off a tree then on the green with backspin coming back about 20 feet into the hole. Yuck.

Hmmm.. I haven't played TW for at least 3 years, so maybe it's just me then. :)

There's always several things you can count on hearing every year....

1. This year's version of Tiger Woods is much tougher than last year's version.

2. We've rebuilt the computer AI in this year's version of Madden from the ground up.

3. The cornerbacks cover the deep ball in NCAA Football much better this year.

4. The goalie AI is much tougher in NHL this year.

5. This year's version of NBA Live isn't a dunk fest like in the past.


And there's always these statements that come 2-3 weeks after release....

1. Dang! Tiger Woods is still too easy!

2. Dang! The computer AI in Madden is terrible!

3. Dang! The deep ball is still easy in NCAA Football!

4. Dang! It's still too easy to score in NHL!

5. Dang! It's still too easy to dunk on NBA Live!


Sorry to be such a party pooper, but it's like watching an Arizona Cardinals fan have dreams that his team will make the Super Bowl. It ain't gonna happen.

I will wait this year, but hell.. it's the only golf game out there.. where is 2k when you need them? :)
