I've got an earpiece in while at work, so I wasn't paying close attention, but I think Dubya just used some pretty gangsta-azz slang when discussing North Korea, and then corrected himself. I'm pretty sure he said, when referring to the fact that other nations stand with us against them, something along the lines of... "North Korea needs to understand that they're not just steppin' to the United States..." Whatever his exact words were, he then paused and said, "Well, I don't know if that's the proper diplomatic term..."
Sounds like he needs to get the Dogg Pound on the case. :D

Well, in college his ol' lady was known as "Dime-bag Laura."
I guess he must get some street props for that!

I would love to see Dubya hollerin at Kim Jong Il "YOU WANNA STEP??? YOU WANNA STEP??? LET'S GO, BITCH!!!!"
That would be the greatest thing ever.

According to the transcript (http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/10/11/bush.transcript/), Bush said North Korea was "stiffing" the US. I'm not sure if that's better or worse.

W should go Old Skool and ask Kim Jong Il whether he wants to throw down.

That being said, I would expect that by 2017, we'll have a President, Vice President, Secretary of State, and/or Secretary of Defense who are quite familiar with hip hop lingo and could even have it slip into a sentence at an unguarded moment.

Then by that time, most of the young people will roll their eyes at the old farts for trying to sound cool.

SkyDog - i don't think gangsta talk is entirely out of character for our administration, judging by this 2004 campaign promo from the streets of South Central:
