TCY Conference and Bowl Names

Greetings. I just d/led TCY and was trying to set it up with realistic names. I've pretty much figured out the real Conference names (I think). Is there anywhere on the net (although I haven't found it yet despite searching) that lists what the conference and especially the bowl games are in real life?

yes. This is the thread that skydog has on there. I looked at it to install TCY on my laptop and noticed that it identified which bowls and conferences to change, but it didn't list which teams. So I just added teams to it for future reference.

Bowl names might need to be adusted as well, as my original post was based on 2002 season.

One thing that should be noted, if this thread is going to be in the reference thread, is that not only are these based on the 2002 season, but also, they don't really match real-life bowl match-ups.
First, the four BCS Bowls in TCY are based on final ranking, while in real life they still have conference tie ins. Granted, the tie ins are complicated, so making that resemble reality would be difficult.
But going further down that list, the otherbowl matchups are off. For example, the Capital One Bowl pits Big Ten #2 vs. SEC #2, not Pac Ten #2 vs. SEC #2. And the Gator Bowl pits ACC #2 vs. Big East #2, not ACC #2 vs. Mountain West #1.
Just a clarification for those who may use this as their bowl bible. Lots of good info there, but another resource you may want to look up is the actual bowl matchups.

I've just re-installed TCY cleanly and had to change South Bend to Notre Dame and that's it.

(well, of course I changed California-Los Angeles to UCLA and Nevada-Las Vegas to UNLV for asthetics, but that's about it).
