Gotta find an uncut video of this if possible.

Thanks in advance.

"They are what we thought they were," Green said. "We played them in preseason. Who the hell picks a third game in preseason like it's [meaningless]? We played them in the third [exhibition] game. Everybody played three quarters. The Bears are who we thought they were. That's why we took the damn field. If you want to crown them, just crown their ass. We let them off the hook."

Good for him. That organization needs a kick in the ass, someone who doesn't accept losing.

And I'm sure the guy who replaces Green will appreciate the groundwork he laid.

I feel for the guy. Its likely that he'll be gone at the end of this season and I'm not sure he'll ever get another NFL head coaching job.

Everyone gets another NFL head coaching job.

Next year, he'll be coaching the Raiders (with Culpepper and Moss).

Dennis Green is a very good evaluator of talent. Nothing more.

...And while we're at it, let's go ahead and crown the Buckeyes National Champs too. They don't have to play any more games.

True. There is nobody even left on their schedule worth even practicing for... :D

I like Denny though. If he had an offensive line less offensive, he'd have a huge win.

You know, in the past Denny has always felt free to visit our lovely forum to vent his frustrations. I wonder if he'll return?

Yes! The Buckeyes are falling into the trap... Don't practice. It's just the Hoosiers... Nothing to be concerned about... Go try to bail Clarett out of prison...

For the Dennis Green threads, do a search on Dennis Green and go to page 4. There were maybe 3 legitimate threads then about 10 other take-offs.

All Denny Green threads are legitimate. To suggest otherwise is to incur the wrath of Denny.

I think it's great to show that kind of fire after another loss that should have been a W. Good for DG.

Which is more than what you could say about a half dozen other NFL head coaches.

I must admit, I want them to lose another close game just to see another reaction. That clip has me rolling each time I see it.

I swear, I don't play werewolf, but this sounds so close to a Blade meltdown:

Antmeister: Blade, you have been voted out in the first two nights each time you play werewolf. What do you want to say to your fellow players who voted you out yet again only to see you weren't a werewolf.

Blade: You know....I mean...I mean. The werewolves are who I thought they were. They are who I thought they were. I knew before the game began. Who the hell plays werewolf like its bullshit. Bullshit. I die before day 3. The werewolves kill 3 more villagers. The werewolves are who I thought they were. Then they vote for me again. Now (smack) if you want to vote Lathum, then vote his ass. But they are who I thought they were. And you guys let them off the hook.

Yes that is correct, except that it would have taken him at least 9 posts to express that emotive thought.

Every time I watch that clip, I feel even worse for Dennis Green. Man, I normally couldn't care less about the NFC North or the NFC West, but I was hurting at the end of that game last night. The Cardinals have just plain blown three games in a row in the 4th quarter, and the confidence in that locker room has to be totally gone. I mean, the defense can say that they shut down the Bears all night last night, but they'll look at the score and look at the standings and wonder if they'll ever be good enough to beat a great football team.

The clip's still funny, though. :)

I still prefer the "playoffs" speech by Mora as the best melt down.

If it's a professional defense, they can play at least 3 seasons of solid football before melting down. If Tampa's defense is any consideration. I can't remember how many games I watched where the defense played spectacularly only to see Tony Dungy/Mike Shula/Trent Dilfer walk away with 7 points or a handful of field goals. But the defense would play 4 quarters no matter what. Of course, there were some outstanding defensive leaders on that team, Warren Sapp, John Lynch, and Derrick Brooks were all in their prime at that time.

The Arizona Cardinals, much like Fox Sports Net...are where quality, established careers go to die.
