Just saw a free agent (who actually looks pretty decent) with the name Full Contact Hicks.

Now while that makes me smile, what pushes it into full-on amusing is his "19" Punishing Hitter rating.

The name was evidently given to him just before he was cut, and whenever people use it, they make that "air quotes" sign.

I've been on the look-out for Mohammed Bernstein since FOF2, I think...

Just drafted RG Jimmie Midget (6-3, 298).

His low ratings are a ploy to lure his enemies into a false sense of security.

I've also had a Jack Bauer in a dynasty before, except he was a 80 overall guard.

I like the ability to add nicknames.

I like the ability to add nicknames.

Me too, I saw a top draft pick named John Gunn so I nicknamed him "The Rifleman," now I follow him to see how he's doing.

No Nose Carlisle was my league's fastest man in '06. Guess one can turn on the burners without the impediment of a body part possessed by 99.9% of the population.

With the inclusion of nicknames I think I'm going to edit the First Names file so that the nicknames don't come in as their first name. I noticed that Adam "Pacman" Jones didn't ship with his nickname so I added it. Let me check to see if their nickname is used in the PBP.

Nope. It's not in the game log and not in the box score. I think it would've added another immersion factor if a player was called by his nickname in the PBP/log.

This is not hilarious, but I did laugh at this name for some juvenile reason:

Al Assler

Fitting for me, and it was too hard to pass up was a solid DE in the 2nd round named German Couch.

I've just found 'Butch Rupert' which made me laugh, two names that don't go together at all :D

I am trying to find a O-Lineman I saw in one of the drafts I quick simmed...

Edit: I just noticed that your post is like 5 months old, I guess you might have figured it out by now. :D

Figures that it was his 9th injury that sent him to the IR.
