This isn't a detailed dynasty so much as a way of following various draftees through their careers and trying to see what works as a predictor of player ability. Basically I'll pick a few players at several positions, usually the top guy, but then some interesting lower guys, and we'll follow them each year and see what happens. Should be pretty quick.

2011 draftees
QB Thomas Gaylor – Texas Tech - #2 player overall in draft and best QB available, looks like the real deal. He's interviewed as scouted and has some weaknesses in short passed and accuracy but everything else looks great. He does have an 82 volatility but his position score is a fantastic 87.
QB Rufus Pucillo – Arkansas State – Rufus is a bit more of a gamble, he's the 13th ranked QB in the draft, and looks like his skills are pretty sharp, except for screen passes and reading defenses. He's very volatile with a 93 score there, and had an 84 position score. Our scouts think he's underrated.
RB Marty Schwartz – Washington State – Marty is the top RB available in the draft and looks like he has speed, power, and some pass catching ability, but not much elusiveness. Our scout says he thinks he's very overrated after an interview though, so will Marty turn out to be a bust? We'll see. He recorded a position score of 33, definitely the best this year, and is the fastest RB available at 4.34 40.
RB Ty Stanton – Harvard – Ty is a bit of a mystery man as he didn't work out at the combine. All we have to go on is his position score (a terrible 8) and my scout's grade of him as 5.1 (the 7th best available running back!) My scout interviewed him and found him as scouted, which is not great, he shows nothing in the power or breakout speed departments, but he has good elusiveness and can spot a hole pretty well. Ty has a 73 volatility, will it be enough to break him out?
WR Wes McCarthy – Iowa – I think Wes is going to be an excellent receiver for someone, he's the best one in this draft class and his skills are good across the board, my scout interviewed him and thought he was fairly scouted. Wes has a middling volatilityof 52 and had an excellent position score of 62. He's also just about the quickest WR in the class. I see good things here.
WR Mickey Kamilewicz – Kentucky – Mickey looks highly unpredictable, on the one hand, his skills look solid – not great, but solid, but my scout thinks he's very overrated. On the other hand, he has a 99 volatility, and a 52 position score (top 10 in the class) and is pretty fast. Which will win out? He could just as easily bust as work out in the NFL.
DT Graham Gilmore – USC – Graham looks like a classic top 5 pick, and he should be great in the NFL. He's the strongest and fastest DT in the draft, and any 288 pound DT who can run a 4.77 40 is impressive. He has the total package of skills, particularly in pass rushing, and if anything our scouts think he is underrated. He does have an 85 volatility but that shouldn't cause problems here.
DE Glenn Pound – Florida – Glenn is interesting from the start because he was picked by Buffalo in last year's draft but apparently was never signed and was allowed to re-enter the draft this year. He looks like a run-stopping end and our scout says he's a bit underrated. He has a lot of developing to do though, he needs some weight training and his strength isn't what it should be yet.
MLB – Russell Van Pelt – Kentucky – Russell isn't one of the top names in the draft, in fact he's kind of obscure. It's very likely he won't be drafted at all, but nonetheless our scout thinks he's underrated, with some decent skills in run defense, zone, and bump-and-run. He really wowed people with the best position score of all MLBs this year, and has very low volatility of 9.
WLB – Sherman Warren – Penn State – Sherman is scouted as the second best OLB available, but our scouts think he's very overrated. His position score was 24, not terrible but not great either, and his volatility is 19.
SS Johnnie Petersen – Texas – Johnnie surprised a lot of people but deciding not to work out in the combine this year. He's scouted as the top SS available but there's some question if he's hiding something. He has a low volatility of 24 and his position test was 42, decent but not top-pick quality. Some people think he may not have the work ethic for the NFL.
CB Ernie Karim – Purdue – Ernie is a hard working player who's pushing hard for an NFL spot but it's unclear if he has the skills, he's good in zone and man-to-man defenses and could maybe find work as a return man. He scored well in his position test, 3rd best of his class, even though scout wise he's maybe the 20th or so best CB. He's got extremely low volatility with 5.

2011 Regular Season
QB Thomas Gaylor – Thomas was picked with the 1st overall pick by Philadelphia, obviously they think they have their franchise QB of the future here. Gaylor started from Day 1 and looked very promising, leading the team to the playoffs and racking up 3400 yards with 18 Tds and 11 interceptions. He is primed to be a young star of the league.
QB Rufus Pucillo – Rufus was picked by Seattle in the 6th round. He was the backup QB for Seattle and looks like if he develops he could become a good player (currently scouted 27/57.) He got a bit of playing time and didn't look too good, clearly he needs some time to develop.
RB Marty Schwartz – Marty went 5th overall to Minnesota. They plugged him into the starting spot right away and he started bowling over defenses, racking up 1125 yards rushing and 7 Tds on his way to the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. He looks fantastic across the board in rushing areas but is only moderate as a receiver. So far he doesn't look anything like a bust.
RB Ty Stanton – Ty was picked up by Pittsburgh in the 3rd round. He was the second RB for the Steelers and racked up 605 yards and 3 Tds on the year, despite his complete lack of speed or power. He has elusiveness and can spot a hole, that's it, but it was good for almost 5 yards a carry this season.
WR Wes McCarthy – Wes went 7th overall to Arizona. He is by far their best WR and started every game, catching 61 balls for 837 yards and 4 TDs. Arizona will need a better QB for Wes to reach his full potential, though.
WR Mickey Kamilewicz – Mickey was signed to a one year deal by Washington. He was released before he ever saw the field, though.
DT Graham Gilmore – Graham went third overall to San Diego. Graham was a full-year starter and a strong force along the defensive line, though he was moved across to LDT. He ended up with 36 tackles and 2 sacks on the year, and looks like a star player.
DE Glenn Pound – Glenn went to Chicago with their last pick of the 3rd round.Glenn watched his Bears win the Super Bowl for the second year in a row but he never made it off the inactive list. He does look like he will develop nicely if given the chance, especially as a runstopper.
MLB – Russell Van Pelt -Russell was signed to a one year deal by Buffalo.Russell never played for the Bills this season and really looks like he has minimal skills.
WLB – Sherman Warren – Sherman went in the 2nd round to Washingto. He started all year at WLB and had 50 tackles on the season. He has moderate skills so far but could really develop as a pass rusher.
SS Johnnie Petersen – Johnnie was picked by Detroit in the 2nd round. Johnnie never saw the field this year, he has skills but there is an even better player in front of him. Johnnie is scouted 40/60 now and should be sharp once he gets some playing time.
CB Ernie Karim – Ernie was a 6th round pick by Miami.Ernie made the field just one time this year, and with his skill level he was probably lucky to see that, although zone is his specialty and he's pretty good in that area.

2012 season
QB Thomas Gaylor – Gaylor suffered a couple of minor ankle injuries but mostly led his team well, he is really developing into a top QB as they expected. He threw for 2978 yards with 15 TDs and 9 interceptions.
QB Rufus Pucillo – Rufus had an interesting season with the Seahawks, he was released at the start of the season, but apparently their other QB suffered a major injury in exhibition and Rufus was brought back as a starter, well before he was ready. He does have potential but this year he turned in one of the worst starting QB performances ever – managing only 1594 yards and 3 TDs to 16 picks. Our scouts think he has a lot of potential but will anyone give him a shot after his!
RB Marty Schwartz – Marty was again the rock for Minnesota at RB, running for 1294 yards and 10 touchdowns, good for 2nd team All-Pro.
RB Ty Stanton – Ty almost duplicated his performance last year for the Steelers, ending up with 120 carries for 584 yards and three TDs. This is in addition to Pittsburgh's main back who had 1300 yards this season!
WR Wes McCarthy – Wes is still struggling because of the pathetic quarterback Arizona has. He ended up with 49 catches for 813 yards. I have a feeling either they're going to get a new QB or else Wes is really going to blow up for some other team once his contract ends.
WR Mickey Kamilewicz – Mickey wasn't picked up by anyone this season. He'll probably retire soon.
DT Graham Gilmore – Graham is simply becoming a monster DT, with current scouted ratings of 94/94. This year for the Chargers he had 38 tackles and 5 sacks, along with an impressive 11 QB knockdowns.
DE Glenn Pound – Glenn got to play in every game this season as a backup, ending up with 10 tackles, 2 assists, and 2 sacks on the year. He still needs a lot of seasoning to become a potential starter but he has a shot.
MLB – Russell Van Pelt – Russell didn't play for any team this year.
WLB – Sherman Warren – Sherman got the starting nod at WLB for the Redskins again this year, and recorded very similar results to last year, with 57 tackles and 19 assists. He's scouted at 46/49 and looks to be a solid but not spectacular player.
SS Johnnie Petersen – Johnnie moved up to starting SS for Detroit this year and played pretty well, recording 41 tackles, 17 assists, 2 sacks, and 2 interceptions. He's currently scouted as 59/59.
CB Ernie Karim- Ernie was released by the Dolphins at the start of the season and hasn't re-signed anywhere.

2013 season
QB Thomas Gaylor – Philadelphia – Gaylor had another successful but not spectacular year in Philly, and they struggled on the field. He ended up with 2940 yards, 19 TDs, and 11 interceptions. Some people think they are being too conservative and should let him air it out more, he certainly has the skills.
QB Rufus Pucillo – Seattle – Seattle has showed a lot of faith in Rufus, at the start of last year he was cut, at the start of this year they signed him to a 6 year, $26 million contract. He has a lot of potential (scouted 34/54) and improved a lot on last year's terrible performance, going from a 51.7 rating to a 96.2 this year, and throwing for 2537 yards, 21 TDs and 7 picks. The team around him is still bad, though.
RB Marty Schwartz – Minnesota – Coming off an All-Pro year, Marty blew a hammy in exhibition and ended up losing half the season to that injury. He ran hard for the remaining 8 games, with 149 carries for 594 yards and 3 touchdowns. The coaches think he'll shake it off for next year.
RB Ty Stanton – Pittsburgh – Ty was bumped up to starting RB this year, though really it was more of a platooning situation with another back. He ended up with 256 carries for 804 yards and 7 TDs. No one's sure how long he'll last in the NFL with his limited toolset but he's playing well for now.
WR Wes McCarthy – Arizona – Though he still had the same gimpy QB tossing to him, Wes started to come into his own this year, with 72 catches and 1183 yards and 5 scores. He was very relieved to finally break the 1000 mark!
WR Mickey Kamilewicz – No further word from Mickey, I believe he's gone back to working for his brother's shoe repair business.
DT Graham Gilmore – San Diego – Graham continues to step up his game, with 40 tackles, 20 assists, and 7.5 sacks, along with 13 hurries and 10 QB knockdowns.
DE Glenn Pound – Chicago- Glenn saw occasional play as a backup, and recorded 3 tackles and a sack on the year. He's really got some potential but he'll need more play time to develop it (scouted 26/49.)
MLB – Russell Van Pelt – Russell's off the map and probably retired.
WLB – Sherman Warren – Washington – Sherman was busy in the pre-season, for one thing the Redskins moved him over to the SLB position, he also renegotiated his contract with them.It was a good position move as he was dominant this year from the strong side, recording 98 tackles and 4 sacks. He's really come into his own especially as a run stopper.
SS Johnnie Petersen – Detroit – Johnnie stepped it up this year, recording 76 tackles, 20 assists, and 2 interceptions. He's doing good things for the Lions.
CB Ernie Karim – No word from Ernie this year.

I took the players off the list that have basically retired, there's no way we'll see them again at this point, the life of the barely-qualified NFL player.
2014 season
QB Thomas Gaylor – Philadelphia – Well, in short, the people who wanted Philly to open it up got their wish, big time. Gaylor blew up this season in a huge way, completing 67.5% of his passes for 4235 yards (including 5 300 yard games,) 33 touchdowns, and only 8 picks. He was named League MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, and 1st team Pro-Bowl.
QB Rufus Pucillo – Seattle – Rufus continued to struggle along with the rest of the Seattle team, he had problems with interceptions but overall had his best season yet, 66% completion rate, 2858 yards, 14 touchdowns and 16 picks. He doesn't seem to be developing very much as a player, which is worrying for his future, he's still scouted 39/53.
RB Marty Schwartz – Minnesota – Marty started off the year running well, but an injury in week 11 slowed him, and then he aggravated the injury a week later and had to be put on IR. He finished with 214 carries for 911 yards and 7 touchdowns. If he could stay healthy he could really do some damage.
RB Ty Stanton – Pittsburgh – Ty improved his play this year and was given the ball a little more, finally breaking the 1000 yard mark with 270 carries for 1017 yards and 5 TDs. He was also resigned by the Steelers for a 4 year, $12 million deal.
WR Wes McCarthy – Arizona – Wes suffered knee and shoulder injuries that limited his playing time this season, he ended up on the field for 9 games, with 34 catches for 590 yards and 3 scores.
DT Graham Gilmore – San Diego – Graham continued to improve his game this year, and for the first time was named to the 2nd team Pro Bowl. He recorded 51 tackles, 18 assists, 8 sacks, 17 hurries, 21 QB knockdowns in a tremendous performance for the Chargers this year.
DE Glenn Pound – Oakland – Glenn was released by the Bears in the off-season and signed a one year, low money deal with Oakland. He still was just a backup, recording 4 tackles, 5 assists and a sack in limited play.
WLB – Sherman Warren – Washington – Washington had to line up Warren at WLB again this year, but he continued to dominate, recording 97 tackles, 15 assists, and 6 sacks on his way to a 2nd team Pro Bowl award.
SS Johnnie Petersen – Detroit – Johnnie started the year by re-signing with the Lions for a 4 year, $30 million contract. He played mostly at FS this year and struggled with injuries, but despite that he had 68 tackles, 17 assists, and 1.5 sacks, as well as an interception. He seems to be a bit injury prone so far but luckily most of the injuries have been mild.

2015 season
This is the year where several of our players' contracts end, some have re-signed already, others might choose free agency.
QB Thomas Gaylor – Philadelphia - Gaylor signed a new contract with Philadelphia, cashing out big time with a 5 year, $113 million deal. He played well this year, though not quite as well as his amazing last year, He threw for 3649 yards, with 21 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.
QB Rufus Pucillo – Seattle – Rufus renegotiated his contract with Seattle, again. He suffered several minor injuries this year and seemed to take a step back in his development (scouted as 39/39.) He started 11 games and finished with 2423 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions.
RB Marty Schwartz – Minnesota – Marty signed a new contract with Minnesota, for 5 years, $45.6 million. He was able to bounce back from his injuries this season and started every game, running 279 times for 1068 yards and 3 scores.
RB Ty Stanton – Pittsburgh – Ty seems to be getting a bit better each year now, he had a very successful year for the Steelers, carrying the ball 275 times for 1141 yards and 6 touchdowns. The Steelers have a young player who might threaten Ty for playing time but for now he's playing well.
WR Wes McCarthy – Arizona – Wes got two welcome announcements at the start of this year, that the Cardinals offered him a 5 year, $90.7 million contract, and that their QB had finally retired, opening the door for top 5 draft pick Winfred Springer. Though he missed a few games with an injury, Wes had a great year, in 13 games he had 57 catches for 1028 yards and 6 touchdowns, and for the first time was named 2nd team Pro-Bowl.
DT Graham Gilmore – San Diego- Graham got a new contract this year also, good for 6 years and $90 million. He looked consistently good all year, recording 53 tackles, 18 assists, and 6.5 sacks, and for the second year in a row was named 2nd team All-Pro.
DE Glenn Pound – Kansas City – Glenn was signed by Kansas City on a one-year deal, and because of an injury, ended up starting for them for 9 games. He recorded 19 tackles, 10 assists, and 4 sacks. Will this be enough to get him a longer term deal somewhere or is he doomed to wander each year?
WLB – Sherman Warren – Washington – Warren started at WLB all year, but his stats suffered, partly because the defense as a whole got better. He recorded 65 tackles, 28 assists, and 3 sacks on the year.
SS Johnnie Petersen – Detroit – Johnnie suffered through his usual injuries but still managed to play in every game, ending up with 60 tackles and 16 assists on the year. (So far, he's had a mild ribcage injury, an ankle injury, a mild ankle injury, a mild hand injury, a mild shoulder injury, a mild knee injury, a mile triceps injury, a mild ankle injury, and a shoulder injury, in 5 seasons. If you look up injury prone in the dictionary this guy's face is there.)

2016 season
QB Thomas Gaylor – Gaylor had a similar year this year to last year, in fact he threw for the exact same yardage, 3649, but he didn't throw as many touchdowns, only 16, against 14 interceptions. He's playing well but the Eagles are a fundamentally mediocre team, leading to his career record of 49-46.
QB Rufus Pucillo – Cincinnati – Rufus was released by Seattle, and picked up by Cincinnati who signed him for a two year, $5.2 million deal. He started for the Bengals all year, and carried over his average play, though he did throw for 3143 yards, his best yet. He's still struggling with interceptions, through 20 of them and only 15 touchdowns.
RB Marty Schwartz – Minnesota – Marty had a big problem this year, in the form of Calvin Udeze, the Vikings' new 3rd overall pick at RB. Calvin started immediately and Marty was left as a backup this season. He ended up with 103 carries for 442 yards and 4 touchdowns, as well as a lot of disappointment.
RB Ty Stanton – Oakland – Ty was released by the Steelers and signed with Oakland this year as a backup. He had 74 carries for 296 yards, mostly in third-down running.
WR Wes McCarthy – Arizona – Wes really had a breakout year this season, he's working well with new QB Winfred Springer. He ended up with 87 catches for 1399 yards and 5 TDs. This left him tied for overall leader in receiving yardage and he took home a 1st team All-Pro award.
DT Graham Gilmore – San Diego- Graham has really become a monster as he showed this year, just dominating the line to record 55 tackles, 22 assists, and 10 sacks. He was named to the 1st Team All-Pro team.
DE Glenn Pound – Detroit – Glenn was on the move again in the offseason, heading to Detroit for another one year deal. He was a backup, again, and recorded 11 tackles, 5 assists, and 4 sacks in limited play. If someone ever gives him a chance, they won't regret it...
WLB – Sherman Warren – Washington – Sherman played well this year and almost matched his 2014 totals, though he wasn't used nearly as much as a pass rusher. He finished with 91 tackles to lead the Redskins, and 13 assists.
SS Johnnie Petersen – Detroit – Johnnie continued his parade of minor injuries this year, adding two mild knee injuries and a minor head injury to his total. He's used to playing through them though and still managed to start 14 games, and had a good season, with 59 tackles, 21 assists, and 4 interceptions, his most ever.

This is what I love about FOF2007. Gaylor looks very Kurt Warner-ish. I can imagine the Philadelphia faithful calling for the 2nd-stringer to take over for him. If I were listening to sports radio in Philly right now, it would go something like this.
Caller: "Hey Howard. First time, long time."
Howard: "How you doin'?"
Caller: "Good, Howard. Hey, I want to talk about the Birds and how they should trade Gaylor for 15 first round draft picks."
Howard: "You're a moron."
Caller: "Yeah but...just hear me out...He's not the same guy as he was in 2014. Even then he couldn't win the big game - he's had only one TD pass in the playoffs. He's just not the guy to get us to the Superbowl."
Howard: "No, he's not, but the rest of the team sucks, so what's the problem with Thomas Gaylor?"
Caller: "I just think they should trade him and rebuild with 15 draft picks."
Howard: "You're a moron."

I agree, if you look at a lot of these players, they can be correlated in some ways to real players. Stanton is sort of a Warrick Dunn guy (though Dunn has SOME speed) in that he's real elusive, people probably always underestimate him, I know I did.

I hope he has a good health plan when he retires. I wonder if he will go down to a career ending injury, or will he have to continue suffering through these minor injuries.

Well obviously he's pretty sturdy, he's had all those injuries but he's missed only 4 starts in 5 seasons.

Very interesting read. It seems like a star QB surrounded by a mediocre team (from your report) can't elevate his team as much as in previous versions.

Well, Philly has a lot of problems, their running game is pretty weak, and their secondary is horrendous, I think that's basically the reason they lose a lot (5-11 in 2016.) If they patch the secondary a bit I think they can improve, they have signed a nice second-year WR who hasn't blown up yet, if he does that may help Gaylor even more.

2017 season
QB Thomas Gaylor – Philadelphia - Apparently the Eagles wanted to renegotiate the terms of Gaylor's contract, even though he was only two years into his last deal. His new deal is 3 years, $64.3 million. His season was disappointing, he seemed to struggle with accuracy all year and just wasn't all that effective overall. He injured his shoulder at the end of the season and missed the final two games. He ended up throwing for a 57.6 percentage (his worst ever) and only for 3154 yards, 14 TDs and 13 interceptions. His fans are really starting to complain about his falloff from his 2014 performance.
QB Rufus Pucillo – Cincinnati – The Bengals, in more strange contract behavior, released Rufus in pre-season, then re-signed him before training camp to a new 2 year, $6 million deal. They also picked up a sharp looking rookie QB, Sammy Bryant, in the 1st round, so Pucillo's days are probably numbered with this team. He started all year, but wasn't very impressive, throwing for only 2476 yards, with 13 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. This is the kind of performance that is going to get him replaced.
RB Marty Schwartz – Miami – Well Marty was released by Minnesota, Calvin Udeze is their main man now, and looks like he will be a great one. Marty signed a 2 year, $3.16 million deal with Miami. There are three RBs at Miami, all with very similar ratings, but it looks like he'll get the starting nod for now. Marty did start all year, but he shared carries pretty heavily with another back. He ended up with 860 yards and 6 touchdowns, he's still running effectively but is obviously being platooned here.
RB Ty Stanton – Oakland – Stanton is just a backup at Oakland, and ran sparingly for 397 yards and a touchdown.
WR Wes McCarthy – Arizona – Wes had quite a season going, but losing the last two games to a shoulder injury set him back a bit. He ended up with 61 catches for 1057 yards, and 9 touchdowns (a career high.) Even with the injury, this performance was enough to see him named 1st team All-Pro! He's basically a top 5 WR at this point.
DT Graham Gilmore – San Diego- Graham is a monster who continues to improve from year to year, racking up 56 tackles, 17 assists, and 11.5 sacks on the year, good for his fourth straight Pro Bowl nod.
DE Glenn Pound – Philadelphia – A new year, a new team for Glenn. He's with Philadelphia now on a one-year deal. He was a backup for the Eagles, as usual, but he did have a career best year with 28 tackles, 9 assists, and 2 sacks.
WLB – Sherman Warren – Miami – Sherman went into free agency this offseason, and ended up signing with the Miami Dolphins for a 4 year, $29.7 million deal. He played well for Miami but not at the level of last season, recording 70 tackles, 27 assists, 2 sacks, and an interception.
SS Johnnie Petersen – Detroit – It wouldn't be football for Johnnie without injuries, this year he had an elbow and a leg injury, though not mild ones. Is this an indication the injuries are having a toll on him? Even though he lost three games to the injuries, he made up for it on the field, recording 59 tackles, 21 assists, a sack, and an interception.

I love to follow the great players of my leagues and just see how the play over the years. I just wanted to show you Justin Slatt, the monster of the league, #1 in all-time passing yards, #1 in all-time combined yards, and a host of other awards. What's especially impressive is his playoff record, this guy is a rock in the playoffs.

2018 season
QB Thomas Gaylor – Philadelphia – Gaylor needed to silence his critics, and he did so this year, bouncing back with his best season since 2014. He focused a lot on accuracy and it resulted in a 64.5% completion rate, and he ended up throwing for 3928 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 11 picks. Overall this was a season where he proved that he wasn't slipping.
QB Rufus Pucillo – Cincinnati – It all came together for Cincinnati this year, and they drove all the way to the Super Bowl before losing a tight one to Chicago and uber-QB Justin Slatt. Unfortunately it wasn't Rufus doing the throwing, he was put on the bench after his first start and Willie Fulton was given the job. Rufus on the season had 313 yards and touchdown. It's hard to look at him as starting QB material for pretty much any team.
RB Marty Schwartz – Miami – Marty was the backup for Miami this year, apparently it was decided to give Wayne McDonald a shot, even though he is only marginally better than Marty. Marty ran well when given a chance, getting 527 yards on 129 carries, and 5 touchdowns. Marty still has starting skills and may be able to find another team next year in free agency.
RB Ty Stanton – Cleveland – It's starting to look like Ty's career is withering away to an end. He was signed by Denver at Week 1 but then released, then picked up at the end of the season as filler by Cleveland. He had 10 carries for 16 yards with the Browns.
WR Wes McCarthy – Arizona – Wes is continuing his domination as a top receiver in the year, he racked up 84 catches for 1321 yards and 9 TDs this year, and another 1st Team Pro Bowl nod.
DT Graham Gilmore – San Diego- Graham suffered an arm injury at the end of pre-season and it seemed to linger and impact his performance at the start of the year. He bounced back and ended up with 43 tackles, 12 assists, and 7 sacks, though he broke his streak of Pro Bowl appearances.
DE Glenn Pound – Cincinnati – Glenn made his usual move to Cincinnati as a backup this season, and had 11 tackles, 3 assists, and 1 sack. Our scout doesn't think he has much potential left, he's good enough as a backup but will probably never make it as a starter.
WLB – Sherman Warren – Miami – Warren was consistent but dropped a bit from last year, probably because he was held back from starting two games. He had 66 tackles, 27assists, and 1.5 sacks on the year.
SS Johnnie Petersen – San Francisco – Johnnie signed with the 49ers in free agency, for a 5 year, $25 million deal. He rewarded them with his best performance in years, with 75 tackles and 27 assists.

2019 season
QB Thomas Gaylor – Philadelphia – Thomas is re-signed by the Eagles for the tremendous salary of $110 million over 3 years. His cap cost is currently $55 million! He really threw a ton this year, breaking his career records for completions and yards, with 4246 yards, 16 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. Unfortunately this wasn't good enough for any post-season rewards.
QB Rufus Pucillo – Atlanta – Apparently I was wrong about Rufus! He signed a two year deal with Atlanta for $6.6 million, and looks like he will be their starter. (This is a great chance to see how the talent pool was drained a bit from 2K4, a good change. Looking at starting QBs, in the top 30, 6 of them are rated under 40, so basically a weak but consistent QB can find a job as long as he stays with the weaker (or poorer) teams. There are still some 70-80 ranked guys but only 6 of them as well.) Not only did Rufus start, he looked really sharp, having a career year in every category. He ended up completing 68.8% of his passes for 3526 yards, with 29 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. Quite a year for him! He led Atlanta to a 12-4 season.
RB Marty Schwartz – Buffalo – Marty signed a one-year deal with Buffalo, where he will be backing up old and injury-prone RB Stephen Brackett. Unfortunately he didn't get injured this season and Marty was limited to 128 carries for 387 yards and 2 touchdowns.
RB Ty Stanton – Ty wasn't signed by anyone this year. Barring a miracle, he'll probably hang up the cleats.
WR Wes McCarthy – Arizona – Wes continues to bring a lot to the table, recording 69 catches for 1112 yards and 8 touchdowns this year, good for a 2nd team Pro Bowl award. Arizona also re-signed him this year for 3 years, $97.3 million, quite a haul.
DT Graham Gilmore – San Diego- Graham got back on track after last year's minor dropoff, with 48 tackles, 22 assists, and 9.5 sacks. He's the center of the Charger defense and got a 1st team Pro Bowl nod.
DE Glenn Pound – Glenn remained without a contract all year. If he's lucky, he'll sign next year. If not....
WLB – Sherman Warren – Minnesota – Sherman was released by Miami in free agency, to his surprise, but landed on his feet with a four year, $15 million deal with Minnesota. They moved him to the SLB position this season but an injury and the fact that he started only part of the time really limited his stats, to 39 tackles, 13 assists, and 1.5 sacks.
SS Johnnie Petersen – San Francisco – Well Johnnie's luck finally ran out this year, in the last pre-season game he injured his knee very badly and had to be put on injured reserve for ACL surgery. Will he bounce back? We will see.

2015 season
RB Marty Schwartz – Minnesota – Marty signed a new contract with Minnesota, for 5 years, $45.6 million. He was able to bounce back from his injuries this season and started every game, running 279 times for 1068 yards and 3 scores.
2016 season
RB Marty Schwartz – Minnesota – Marty had a big problem this year, in the form of Calvin Udeze, the Vikings' new 3rd overall pick at RB. Calvin started immediately and Marty was left as a backup this season. He ended up with 103 carries for 442 yards and 4 touchdowns, as well as a lot of disappointment.
This situation does not make sense to me. Why would you sign a guy to a huge contract and then make him the backup, I mean unless of course you are the Raiders dealing with Joey Porter. :)

Rufus has proven to be quite a value, relative to where he was taken in the draft.
I'd say the biggest steal has been Gilmore or McCarthy, though, probably McCarthy in terms of where he went.
Who was the #2 overall pick and how has he panned out?

#2 pick that year was Wes Cobb, a dominating cover corner who's made a nice career for himself with the Chiefs, and is still going strong as a Pro Bowl player the last three seasons.

2020 season
QB Thomas Gaylor – Philadelphia – Thomas more than proved last year wasn't a fluke, he improved on it with a monster year, completing 62.8% of his passes for 4260 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. He was named MVP and Offensive Player of the Year, which has totally silenced his critics. In a rout against Washington, he set the single game touchdown record, throwing for 7 scores!
QB Rufus Pucillo – Atlanta – Rufus was signed to a 3 year, $14 million deal with Atlanta. He suffered through several injuries this season which limited him to only 8 starts, but played pretty well in them, with 1817 yards, 9 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions.
RB Marty Schwartz – Marty was signed by the Eagles to a one year deal. It looks like his skills are really fading, and this was proved by him not making the cut and not re-signing with anyone this year.
RB Ty Stanton – Stanton retired in the offseason. Here are his stats:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/stantonlast.jpg
WR Wes McCarthy – Arizona – At the end of last season, Arizona's developing star QB Winfred Springer tore a patellar tendon, and will probably miss all year. In his place will be John “The Rifleman” Gunn, who has potential but has been decaying on the bench for several years. It wasn't a good move for Wes, as Gunn was decent at QB but tended to spread his passes around, Wes got only 43 catches for 675 yards on the year, mostly in shorter routes, as well as 6 touchdowns. Definitely a down year for him.
DT Graham Gilmore – San Diego- Graham re-signed with the Chargers for $67.2 million over three years. His skills seem to be diminishing a bit, and he definitely had an off year, his worse year ever in fact, with only 27 tackles, 15 assists, and 2 sacks. Part of the problem was simply being involved in a lot less plays.
DE Glenn Pound – Glenn didn't sign with anyone but hasn't retired, he's still trying to hold onto faded dreams of glory.
WLB – Sherman Warren – Sherman surprised a lot of people by retiring in the offseason. Apparently the knee injury he suffered at the end of last year was more serious than he let on. Here are his final stats:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/warrenlast.jpg
SS Johnnie Petersen – Chicago – Johnnie recovered from his knee injury but has definitely seen a skill drop across the board. He's still very solid in run defense, so he was signed by Chicago as a backup safety on a one year deal. Unfortunately he barely got to see the field, between various injuries and his backup status, he only had 7 tackles and 4 assists this year. Could he be considering retirement as well?

I agree, I think it was a situation where they signed him to the big deal, he got one good year in, but then the next year they felt they had to take the best player left on the board who was a lot better than Schwartz. Obviously it proved to be a good move, Udeze is rocking the house for them.

Well our players are starting their 11th year and it's obviously taking a toll on them.
2021 season
QB Thomas Gaylor – Philadelphia – Thomas had a solid year this year but wasn't quite up to his spectacular MVP season last year. He ended up with 3518 yards, 25 touchdowns and 17 interceptions, and took his team to the NFC championship game.
QB Rufus Pucillo – Tennessee – Rufus was released by Atlanta in the offseason, and signed a 3 year, $13 million deal with the Titans instead, where he started all year. He put up very solid numbers this year and really surprised a lot of people. He ended up with 3448 yards, 27 touchdowns and 13 interceptions, quite a nice year.
RB Marty Schwartz – Marty decided it was time to retire and try to do something else besides football. His final numbers:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/schwartzlast.jpg
WR Wes McCarthy – Wes shocked a lot of people when he revealed he was calling it a career. He definitely had the skills to hang around the league a few more years but he decided to go.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/mccarthylast.jpg
DT Graham Gilmore – San Diego- Graham's role is shifting with the Chargers, he's being used a good bit in the passing game but much less as a run defender, which is really hurting his numbers. He did rally from last year and ended up with 40 tackles, 11 assists, and 3 sacks.
DE Glenn Pound – Glenn retired. His final numbers
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/poundlast.jpg
SS Johnnie Petersen – Houston - Johnnie wasn't signed by anyone at the start of the year but was picked up by the Texans as a midseason replacement, he played in 9 games as a backup and finished with 26 tackles, and 12 assists.

2022 season
QB Thomas Gaylor – Philadelphia – Gaylor looked amazing this year, he has two really talented receivers and a RB now to take the pressure off and he just exploded for a career year, 4462 yards, 35 touchdowns, and only 7 interceptions earned him another MVP award and Offensive Player of the Year.
QB Rufus Pucillo – Atlanta – Rufus was released by Tennessee, went back to Atlanta, started for 7 games, then was abruptly released in the middle of the season, after a mediocre performance. He had 1479 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions in his 7 games. His skills definitely look like they are fading at this point.
DT Graham Gilmore – Graham retired, I guess he was tired of seeing his role be reduced more and more each year. His final numbers:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/gilmorelast.jpg
SS Johnnie Petersen – New Orleans – Johnnie is really barely hanging on, he was unsigned all year until week 13 when he was signed by the Saints, played in one game, then got injured and had to be put on IR. He had 1 tackle and 4 assists in what will probably be his last game.

2023 season
We're down to our final two players, both QBs. Gaylor looks like he can hang around a while, I'm not sure about Pucillo.
QB Thomas Gaylor – Philadelphia – Unfortunately, coming off his MVP season, Thomas went down with a serious hamstring injury in week 3 which caused him to miss the rest of the season. In three games, he passed for 370 yards, 3 touchdowns, and an interception. He'll be a free agent next year, will Philly keep him despite the injury?
QB Rufus Pucillo – Tennessee – Pucillo went back to Tennessee this year on a two year, $7 million contract. He missed a couple of games at the start of the year with an ankle injury, but played out the season, recording 2672 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions to lead the Titans' meager passing attack.
SS Johnnie Petersen – To no one's surprise, Petersen retired, his body just couldn't take the punishment anymore. Here are his final stats:

QB Thomas Gaylor – Philadelphia – The Eagles made their intentions clear when they used the franchise tag on Thomas this year. Last year's injury doesn't look like it's taken much off his abilities either. Gaylor played another great year also, throwing for 4044 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, and for the first time he took the Eagles all the way to a Super Bowl title! He was named 2nd team Pro Bowl and Super Bowl MVP.
QB Rufus Pucillo – New York – Rufus was signed to the usual two year low-money deal this year, this time by the Giants. He started all season but his skills have obviously deteriorated and he had a horrible year, passing for only 2615 yards and 8 touchdowns, with 21 interceptions, and being sacked a horrible 56 times. His accuracy and timing are still there, mostly but his arm is getting dangerously weak at this point.

He's mentoring his future replacement, Jamal Antonius (also a 1st overall pick!) who looks like he's going to be a good one. He had an amazing year, it seems like he is getting better and better. 4306 yards, 32 touchdowns, 18 interceptions, a very fine year overall but not good enough to snag any awards.
QB Rufus Pucillo – Rufus hung up the spikes, he had a long career and was more successful than most people thought he would be as a 6th round draft pick. His final stats:

QB Thomas Gaylor – Philadelphia- Thomas was franchise tagged again, and obviously doesn't want to retire while he's still on top of his game. Philly was amazing this year, going 15-1 in the regular season, but then got upset in the divisional playoffs by Seattle. They got there through the great play of Gaylor, who racked up yet another MVP award and Offensive Player of the Year with a career best 4492 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. No wonder the Eagles don't want to let the old man go yet!
2027 season
QB Thomas Gaylor – Philadelphia – It looks like Thomas wants to stay in the league for his 17th season, some say he wants to stamp his name in the record book even more than he already is. He starts the year as 2nd in all time pass attempts, completions, 3rd in passing yards, and 3rd in passing TDs. He is franchise tagged again by the Eagles. He adds plenty more to his record this year, with 4301 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions, he is just one of the top QBs in the league every year at this point.
At the end of the season, he announced his retirement. He has had a long and amazing career, all for Philadelphia, who retires his number, and he will surely head straight for the Hall of Fame. Here are his impressive career stats:

Peregrine,
What does the cap hit look like for QB Rufus Pucillo who moved around each season, but usually signed multi-year deals. Are they not guaranteed contracts so only the bonus money will be counted toward the cap the next year the QB is with another team. And I wonder how QB Rufus Pucillo can keep going back to Atlanta even though they released/cut him a couple of times? Great Dynasty, and I would like to see another one.

Well I think this is a combination of things, for one, the fact that he moved around from team to team is something you would see a lot in 2K4, and I think has moved over. I doubt there were cap issues, because he was usually signed to two year deals with no signing bonus, so it was basically a straight cash for play situation. Also, something that might be a new quirk or bug in 2K7, more than once he was released by a team, only to be re-signed by them the same year. This doesn't make much sense, since it didn't gain them any cap room since it was the same contract they signed with him.
In terms of going back, one of the changes in 2K7 is for minimum salary veterans, you can release them and they will often come back without the whole "past injustices" thing.

Well the Eagles had a really bizarre turn of events to have that happen. In 2022 they went 13-3 but were bounced out of the playoffs. in 2023 they went 4-12, which gave them the first overall pick which they spent on Antonius, makes sense really since Gaylor was long in the tooth there. The very next season they reversed those numbers to go 12-4 and win the Super Bowl. Gives a new meaning to worst to first, doesn't it? Notice anything in Gaylor's stats that happened in 2023? Basically he was so important to the team that the year he got hurt, they completely fell apart, then once he was back (and with some nice draft picks) they went to the Super Bowl.

Here you go. He was never a dominating cover guy, run defense was his specialty.

As far as Gaylor, he basically is the #2 all-time QB in my league, one guy, Don Knowlton, is ahead of him and Gaylor is #2 in most areas, like passing yards, touchdowns, completions, etc. Knowlton was a master quarterback who played for the Raiders, he holds a lot of records, including most passing yards in a season (5182.) This actually brings up something that I'm concerned about in 2K7, I know this has been mentioned on the boards, but I think at 100 the injuries are a bit light, quite a few QBs played for one team their whole careers and missed only 3 or 4 games in 15 seasons, that seems a bit unrealistic.

Here's our new squad of recruits, it's definitely a different draft, and a lot shallower in many positions than our original draft. I tried to find a decent kicker Thomkal but the best one was only average. I did however add a Tight End, and a guy with a great nickname.
2028 draftees
QB Craig Wolfe – Louisiana-Lafayette – This is definitely a weak draft for quarterbacks, there are three of roughly similar ability but all are pretty far down the overall draft sheet, and all of them show some weaknesses. We'll focus on Craig Wolfe, our scouts think he's underrated and he's the smartest of the three but he's volatile, and seems to lack sense rush and reading defenses skills.
QB Martin Hilgendorf – NC Central – Martin is a quarterback much farther down the list, one who may struggle to even reach a NFL roster. He's a roll-out quarterback who likes to scramble, and is pretty fast, but his arm for throwing long passes is suspect.
RB Duane Haygood – Boston College – Duane is the best RB available and looks to have the total package of skills, and looks like a good receiver. He's the fastest back available at 4.43 and looks to be a threat, he should go pretty fast in the draft.
RB Luke Dimaio – Western Carolina – Luke has some talent, especially as a power runner, but certainly isn't going to bring the total package, in fact it's questionable what he will bring besides power. He didn't work out at the combine but scored well in the position drill and has some volatility to possibly breakout as a later round pick.
TE Donnell Woodard – Oklahoma – Donnell is the top tight end available, and looks to bring his 6'4” 263 pound frame to bear in the blocking game and also in the passing game. He has excellent endurance, and on top of this, our scout thinks he's underrated. Of course, what I'm most interested to see is that Donnell is a Red Flag player, what effects will this have?
WR Ty Prescott – UCLA – Ty is a highly rated prospect, probably the best receiver available, and also our scout thinks he's very underrated, he's going to bring the complete skill set, as well as 4.37 speed, to the table.
DE Ricardo Joyner – Mississippi State – Ricardo looks to be an overachieving DE, while his overall scout rating is around the 13th best DE in the draft, our scout pegs him as very underrated, and he looks to have some nice skills across the board. His volatility is very low, so what you see is probably what you get.
DT Richie Thornton – West Texas A&M – Richie is listed as the third best DT on the board, but it's a pretty tight competition, and I think he stands out, our scout thinks he's very underrated, and pegs him as top-notch in terms of run defense, endurance and pass rush technique. He didn't work out at the combine and does have some volatility (77.)
SILB – Peter Hanks – Arizona State – Peter is an interesting player, in terms of scouting he's listed as the top ILB available, but for one thing, our scout thinks he's very overrated, and also he hardly shows any skills in run defense, though he looks like a great pass rusher and coverage LB. Personally I'd never put a guy in my MLB spot who couldn't stop the run, but he may find a good fit with some team, it will be interesting to see.
SLB Crime Dog Stokes – Georgia Tech – Should I be picking a player because of a nickname? Hey, why not. Crime Dog is an average pick at best, but he shows some talent as a runstopper, and he has decent volatility, so he might be able to play at the NFL level.
CB Rodney England – Air Force – Rodney is a quality cornerback with great coverage skills, especially in zone and bump-and-run, and is a ballhawk and a heavy hitter, as well. Our scout thinks he's underrated and he's shown very little volatility so he should make someone a good first round pick.
S Brenden Hou – Lasalle – Brenden is a physical beast, and possibly the top rated player in the draft. Our scout thinks he's overrated a bit, but he looks like he brings excellent coverage skills in any scheme, plus interceptions, and returns. He also brings 4.32 speed, making him the fastest player available in the entire draft. This guy is going to be good.

2028 season
QB Craig Wolfe – Miami – DolphinFan1 gets his wish, as Craig is selected at #12 by Miami. He'll have some strong competition from Terrell Burroughs who was selected at #4 by the Dolphins the previous year. Hmm, something's got to give here. Apparently Craig decided to add to the confusion by holding out, he wasn't signed until week 4. Craig didn't play at all this year, there's a really crowded QB situation in Miami.
QB Martin Hilgendorf – Green Bay – Martin wasn't drafted but was signed to a one year rookie deal by Green Bay. He looks pretty bad and I think he'll be washed out of the NFL shortly. He stayed on the roster all year but never saw a play, as expected.
RB Duane Haygood – Cleveland – Duane went to the Browns with the #7 pick.He looks like a HUGE upgrade for them at running back. Duane was as good as advertised, running 307 times for 1178 yards and four TDs and adding another 256 yards via catches. He was named the Offensive Rookie of the Year.
RB Luke Dimaio – Baltimore – Luke went to the Ravens in the third round. He doesn't look great but he could probably land the backup spot easily for now. Luke had a good camp and I have to admit, looked better than I expected, he's still a power back first and foremost but his other skills are not bad. He showed this by getting a lot of touches this year, running 193 times for 814 yards and 4 touchdowns as the backup.
TE Donnell Woodard – New England – The Patriots picked up Red Flag Donnell at the 24th spot overall. It's hard to say if the Red Flag had anything to do with it, since TE is not a position that will usually get selected early, but Donnell does look like a special player. He's already rated higher than any of their other TEs or receivers. Donnell had a decent but not great year, as a receiver he had 27 catches for 271 yards, but he didn't look as effective as a blocker as expected. He definitely needs more experience as a blocker.
WR Ty Prescott – Washington – Ty was selected first overall by the Washington Redskins. When you pick a receiver with the first overall pick you're making a statement. I guess the Skins' statement was, our receivers suck, but we have a really sharp QB Lee Ross who we drafted as the 2nd overall pick last year and we hope these guys will be a great combo. Well, things turned out a bit differently, for one, Lee Ross seems to have busted rather badly, and is pretty terrible now. Washington floundered with a mediocre QB and terrible OL, and didn't get much of a passing game going. Ty was completely wasted, and worse, seemed ignored, managing only 30 catches for 370 yards and a touchdown on the year. This looks like a bad situation.
DE Ricardo Joyner – Atlanta – Ricardo went to Atlanta with the 13th pick in the 3rd round. If his skills pan out he should be an asset to an average set of DEs. Joyner looks like he has a ton of upside, but he'll need the playing time to develop it. He played sparingly as a backup, recording 9 tackles and 2 sacks.
DT Richie Thornton – Kansas City – Richie was selected 9th overall by the Chiefs. They already have a couple of pretty good DTs so it will be interesting to see what happens here. All I say about Richie is Wow, he exploded after camp and looks like he's a real monster, as our scouts see him at 86/86 at the end of the year. He started all year and looked good against the run, recording 55 tackles and 10 assists.
SILB – Peter Hanks – Atlanta – Peter went 10th overall to Atlanta. They desperately need someone at middle linebacker so this looks like a good choice. Peter had a good year and looks like he will be better in the run game than expected. He had 58 tackles, 27 assists, and 1.5 sacks on the year.
SLB Crime Dog Stokes – Dallas – Crime Dog wasn't drafted but signed a one year deal with Dallas. He's got some potential in run defense and pass defense technique but will probably end up a career backup. Crime Dog only ended up with 4 tackles and 2 assists on the year and will probably have to fight to sign with another team next year.
CB Rodney England – Green Bay – Rodney went 28th overall to Green Bay. He's moving into a crowded CB core dominated by monster cover corner Gene Murray, but Rodney will find plenty of work here as he develops. Rodney came out of camp charged up and ready to go, with tons of upside, but his season came to a crashing halt in week 1 when he suffered a torn biceps muscle and had to be put on IR. It looks like it hasn't affected his skills too badly at least.
S Brenden Hou – St. Louis – Brenden went 5th overall to St. Louis. The Rams have an excellent strong safety but Brenden will be a great fit at free safety to really bring the Rams secondary up to a great level. Brenden proved to be the monster everyone expected, looking like an All-World player with excellent skills across the board. Let's see, 60 tackles, 15 assists, a sack, and 6 interceptions enough for you? How about Defensive Rookie of the Year, and 1st Team Pro-Bowl Safety. He had an 88.2 Pass Defense percentage, quite nice for a first year player.

2029 season
QB Craig Wolfe – Miami – Craig is the 4th QB on Miami's roster and didn't play any all year. He really needs some playing time somewhere to develop into a decent quarterback.
QB Martin Hilgendorf – San Francisco – Despite his very marginal skils, he was signed by the 49ers to a one year deal as a backup. He had 2 completions for 33 yards on the season. At least he got to do a lot of kick holding, which he's good at.
RB Duane Haygood – Cleveland – Duane continues to look like a star running back, improving on last year to a 4.20 average, with 282 carries for 1184 and 13 touchdowns. He also added 342 yards receiving and 6 more touchdowns that way, but somehow was passed over for a Pro Bowl nod. He did lead the league in rushing touchdowns.
RB Luke Dimaio – Baltimore – Luke has improved even more since last year (or possibly a new scout) but he was named the starter for Baltimore, and ran for 1136 yards on 286 carries, and 6 touchdowns.
TE Donnell Woodard – New England – Donnell got a little more involved in the passing game this year, he had 36 catches for 335 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also made a few more blocks. (It's hard for me to figure out how much impact a TE is having, even the best TEs in the game don't record many KRBs, for example.)
WR Ty Prescott – Washington – Ty has to feel that he is wasted on this team, the Redskins are a run-first team with a weak quarterback who doesn't seem to care who he throws it to. Ty had only 33 catches for 460 yards and 2 touchdowns this year. This is an incredible waste of talent.
DE Ricardo Joyner – Atlanta – Ricardo was given the starting spot at LDE for the Falcons, and had 17 tackles, 11 assists, and 4.5 sacks, not a very good year overal, but he's got a lot of room to improve.
DT Richie Thornton – Kansas City –.Richie was moved into more of a pass rush role this season and it showed, his tackles dropped to 36, assists were up to 20, but he recorded 7 sacks. He's got star DT talent in pretty much any role.
SILB – Peter Hanks – Atlanta – Peter keeps improving, a guy that was scouted as virtually nil run defense is now scouted as 73 in that area, in addition to top-notch skills across the board everywhere else. He's anchoring Atlanta's defense but his stats were down a bit from last year because of a leg injury that cost him 2 starts. He ended up with 53 tackles, 16 assists, and a sack, along with an interception.
SLB Crime Dog Stokes – Crime Dog was given a chance by Cincinnati but didn't make the cut, he's a free agent and might retire soon.
CB Rodney England – Green Bay – Rodney bounced back from his injury last year and his team even sent him to summer league, he started all year and had 42 tackles, 13 assists, and 3 interceptions with a 83.1 Pass Defense %.
S Brenden Hou – St. Louis – Brenden disappointed some with no interceptions this year, but he had 58 tackles and 25 assists to stay consistent against the run.

Boo! No Kicker! :) I am glad to see a red flag player though, pretty funny that New England of all teams would pick up a red flag player. And love Crime Dog! How could he not have a long career with that nickname?

Would be kind of interesting what Washington's reaction/price tag would be if a team wanted to trade for their very talented WR. He is not being used that much, I wonder if Washington would say like we do not use him that much, but he would be great on your team, so would his lack of stats play too much into their decision and undervalue him, or would they ask for the bank because of this stats and potential?

It's a good question, I certainly hate to see him wasted, according to his scouted numbers, he's the second best WR in the NFL, and he's wasting away hardly doing anything. The funny thing is there was another 1st overall WR in my game quite a few years ago, and the same thing happened to him, he got stuck on some team and never made an impact.

2030 season
QB Craig Wolfe – Miami – A new year, same story for Craig as he rots on the bench.
QB Martin Hilgendorf – Martin is a free agent waiting for a job.
RB Duane Haygood – Cleveland – Duane continues to be the star player of this group, he rips his way to 1308 yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground, and 519 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air. He is named 1st Team Pro-Bowl and Offensive Player of the Year.
RB Luke Dimaio – Denver – Apparently Baltimore wanted a different approach so they released Luke and he signed with Denver on a 4 year, $23 million deal, not bad for a third round pick! Again he was in a platoon situation with another back but he impressed a lot of people with 171 carries for 850 yards and a touchdown
TE Donnell Woodard – New England – Donnell suffered a shoulder injury which cost him a couplr of games but he won't complain as he got a championship ring at the end of the season. He wasn't a big part of the Patriots passing attack except as a big target in the end zone, he had 17 catches for 194 yards for four of those catches were for touchdowns.
WR Ty Prescott – Washington – .Washington went 2-14 this year, and though they keep adding a lot of great draft picks they don't seem to be able to get it together. At least this year they get the ball to Ty a bit more, he ended up with 51 catches for 762 yards and 5 touchdowns.
DE Ricardo Joyner – Atlanta – Ricardo was a backup, and didn't play much this year, he had 6 tackles, 4 assists, and 2 sacks on the year.
DT Richie Thornton – Kansas City –.Richie had a knee injury which cost him three games, he ended up with 37 tackles, 14 assists, and 4 sacks on the year.
SILB – Peter Hanks – Atlanta – Peter really broke out this year, with 80 tackles, 33 assists, and 3 sacks, he's really looking like a great player.
SLB Crime Dog Stokes – Well Stokes is obviously going nowhere, he is signed by Minnesota but cut before the season starts.
CB Rodney England – Green Bay – Rodney continued his high level of play and improved from last year, in only 14 games due to injury, he had 49 tackles, 12 assists, and an interception.
S Brenden Hou – St. Louis – Brenden suffered a couple different injuries that cost him a couple of games, and overall had a weak year as he fought through them. He had 46 tackles, 16 assists, half a sack and an interception. I wonder if the Rams are getting a bit worried that his tackle totals are declining each year?

Well it's obvious that this set of players is for the most part a lot less interesting than the last one, it's hard to predict a shallow draft pool and even harder to predict who will play well starting as a lower pick, I think Luke Demaio is probably the best example here of a guy who's really played well as an unheralded player, if you break apart his numbers, this guy is good, he's getting into the endzone and he's putting up impressive averages.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/demaio.jpg
2031 season
QB Craig Wolfe – Miami – Craig re-signed with Miami for 2 years and $7.8 million, but is still the third QB, and looks like he won't have a chance to move up barring some major personnel changes.
QB Martin Hilgendorf – Martin retired, obviously he wasn't cut out for the NFL.
RB Duane Haygood – Cleveland – Duane keeps getting better and better, he had a great year, 306 carries for 1460 yards and 11 touchdowns rushing, 515 yards receiving and 6 more touchdowns through the air. He repeats as Offensive Player of the Year and 1st Team Pro-Bowl RB. He led the league in rushing yards this year.
RB Luke Dimaio – Denver – Denver signed Luke to a 3 year, $9.9 million deal to be their backup RB, and he continued to reward them, with 180 carries for 804 yards and 7 touchdowns. The primary, Joe Crane, had another 1004 yards, between them they really chewed up opponents' defenses this year.
TE Donnell Woodard – New England – Donnell had another decent year but again didn't get involved in the passing game too much, he had 22 catches for 289 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also recorded a few blocks.
WR Ty Prescott – Washington – .Ty seemed to take a step back this year, mostly because the Redskin quarterback was an undrafted second year player who doesn't seem to have much talent. What a waste. Ty had 38 catches for 552 yards and 4 touchdowns.
DE Ricardo Joyner – Philadelphia – Ricardo was released by the Falcons and signed by the Eagles in week 3. He got to start 3 games to fill in for injuries and had 9 tackles, 2 assists, and 3 sacks on the season.
DT Richie Thornton – Kansas City –.Richie didn't have an inspired year, but he had 39 tackles, 13 assists and 4 sacks on the year, he is definitely being used more in the passing game and his hurries and QB knockdowns show it.
SILB – Peter Hanks – Atlanta – Peter fell off a bit from his great season last year, but he still had 64 tackles, 36 assists, and half a sack playing out of the middle linebacker spot.
SLB Crime Dog Stokes – Crime Dog retired, and headed for his future job as a county sheriff. Don't mess with the Crime Dog!
CB Rodney England – Green Bay – Rodney had one interception, 33 tackles, 7 assists and a sack this year, his numbers dropped mostly because he played less, the Packers have a good squad of cornerbacks are are trying to cut them all in on the playing time.
S Brenden Hou – St. Louis – Brenden played his way through three minor injuries this year but didn't lose a start, and he really bounced back this season in a huge way, with 2 interceptions, 87 tackles, and 27 assists on the year. He was awarded a 1st Team Pro Bowl nod.

032 season
Well the big news is, Thomas Gaylor was named a member of the Hall of Fame this season, with 100% of the vote. He's really one of the legendary quarterbacks of this league, and with 25 seasons of data, you know that really means something. There doesn't even seem to be an active QB on the radar who can get close to Gaylor and Justin Slatt's career yardage numbers ( 61921 and 67790, respectively.) The best candidate was Winfred Springer, who you may remember from Wes McCarthy's last years, but he retired last season without breaking 60K. Way to go Thomas.
QB Craig Wolfe – Miami – Well Craig seems content to keep signing two year deals with Miami and hold a clipboard. I guess it's good work if you can get it, for millions a year.
RB Duane Haygood – Cleveland – Duane was up for free agency this year, so Cleveland stepped up huge with a 6 year, $172 million contract! Unfortunately Duane had an off year, only getting 1028 yards on 294 carries, and 10 touchdowns. He did have 565 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air.
RB Luke Dimaio – Denver – Luke's carries were cut a bit this year as the Broncos added a third RB to the equation, sounds like the real life Broncos doesn't it? He had 149 carries for 497 yards and only made it into the endzone once.
TE Donnell Woodard – Washington – Donnell came up for free agency and was repeatedly passed over, before he signed with Washington on a one year, low money deal. I'm not sure if this is because of his red flag or the usual FOF thing where some good free agents get skipped over and never signed. In any case, he had 21 catches for 250 yards and a touchdown, with a few blocks. I tell you, it's difficult and a bit boring trying to figure out if a TE is having a good year, even with great catching skills, very few of them rack up a lot of receiving yards.
WR Ty Prescott – Washington – Washington finally signed a decent QB, journeyman Jay Narvaez, and he had a decent year for them. He got the ball to Ty more, so he had his best year yet, 55 catches for 923 yards and 5 touchdowns.
DE Ricardo Joyner – Dallas – Ricardo is taking the Glenn Pound route, changing teams each year, and this year he ended up in Dallas, where he actually got a good bit of playing time, starting in 10 games, and recording 18 tackles, 6 assists, and 5 sacks for his best year yet.
DT Richie Thornton – Kansas City –.Richie is going to stay in KC for a while, as he signed a 6 year, $124 million contract. He really got his act together this year and played up to his potential, recording 44 tackles, 25 assists, and 10.5 sacks to get recognized as a 2nd team All-Pro.
SILB – Peter Hanks – Atlanta – Peter signed a 3 year, $55 million contract with the Falcons. He also had a good year on the field, with 79 tackles, 19 assists, and 2.5 sacks.
CB Rodney England – Green Bay – Rodney really exploded this year, recording 65 tackles and 21 assists on the year.
S Brenden Hou – St. Louis – Brenden is really starting to look a bit injury prone, as he suffered a groin injury, thumb injury and a elbow injury that cost him 3 starts between them. He ended up with 54 tackles, 21 assists, half a sack and an interception, obviously fighting through those injuries slowed him down.

QB Craig Wolfe – Miami – Exciting news! In what must have been a case of mistaken identity, Craig was sent onto the field for two plays this season! He had two passes, with one completion for 2 yards. Wow, Craig, savor this moment, you'll probably be like Moonlight Graham in 60 years.
RB Duane Haygood – Cleveland – Cleveland is giving a third-rate backup a good many of Duane's carries, which is really hurting his numbers, he again scraped into 1000 yard territory, with 1042 yards and only 3 touchdowns. Receiving he had 387 yards and 3 touchdowns.
RB Luke Dimaio – Philadelphia – Luke was signed by the Eagles to a one-year deal. His skills are fading a bit and so are his carries, he had 123 carries for 488 yards and four touchdowns.
TE Donnell Woodard – San Diego – Donnelle was signed to a 3 year, $17 million deal by the Chargers. Apparently they decided they had other tight ends to use, because he barely played this season, getting only 4 catches for 52 yards. Our new scout isn't as impressed by Donnell as the old one was and it looks like the Chargers agreed.
WR Ty Prescott – Washington – Ty continued his road into obscurity with a 50 catch, 771 yard season and 5 touchdowns.
I did some research and found an interesting pattern, I posted it on the main board under FOF2K7 receiving yards issue, it looks like there's a major bug or problem with receiving yards.
DE Ricardo Joyner – Ricardo was released and was a free agent this year.
DT Richie Thornton – Kansas City –.Riche had a horrible season, with only 31 tackles, 13 assist, and 1 sack, despite playing in more pass plays than last year. Hopefully he'll rebound next year.
SILB – Peter Hanks – Atlanta – Peter continues to anchor Atlanta's defense, with 68 tackles, 21 assists, and a sack.
CB Rodney England – Dallas – Rodney signed with Dallas in free agency, grabbing a 4 year, $45 million deal. This sparked his best season yet, as he recorded 6 interceptions, 48 tackles, 10 assists, and 2 sacks, and was named 1st team Pro Bowl cornerback.
S Brenden Hou – St. Louis – Brenden had the franchise tag put on him this season, he's that important to the Rams. He then re-negotiated for a 4 year, $58 million deal. On the year, he had 2 interceptions, 65 tackles, 27 assists, and a sack.

Again, we saw this in the first dynasty, why in the hell would a team pay that much money to a starter only to give a lot of the carries to a third-rate backup? Also with you being pretty far in the timeline for the league, teams can actually afford making contracts in the 172 million range? Talk about inflation.

QB Craig Wolfe –Baltimore – Well Craig was cut loose by Miami and ended up in Baltimore on a one year deal, where he's in a better situation, the primary backup to the very talented Greg Reese. He made it to the field during four games, and had 13 completions for 87 yards and two touchdowns.
RB Duane Haygood – Cleveland – Duane seems to have set into a pattern, as he again had 255 carries for 1069 yards and 6 touchdowns. He's getting heavily affected by the playing time issue and his backups are stealing a lot of carries.
RB Luke Dimaio – Miami – Luke went to Miami for a one year deal. He was used sparingly as a backup, and had 68 carries for 239 yards and a touchdown.
TE Donnell Woodard – San Diego – Donnell is suffering from lack of playing time because he's the second fiddle to one of the top TEs in the league, Tommie Samuels. He started only 3 games and had 9 catches for 118 yards.
WR Ty Prescott – Washington – .Ty had 61 catches for 900 yards and 3 touchdowns. He's Mr. Playing Time Bug.
DE Ricardo Joyner – Ricardo retired.
DT Richie Thornton – Kansas City – Richie had 49 tackles, 18 assists and 6 sacks on the year, as he really bounced back from last year's poor performance.
SILB – Peter Hanks – Atlanta – Peter signed a new deal with Atlanta for 3 years and $97 million. He also had a career year, with 85 tackles, 30 assists, and 3 sacks. What's really impressive is Atlanta has a SLB who put up over 100 tackles, so the Falcons really have a dominating linebacker corps.
CB Rodney England – Dallas – Rodney struggled this season, getting only 26 tackles, 7 assists, half a sack, and two interceptions. His pass cover abilities were still impressive though.
S Brenden Hou – St. Louis – Brenden was very consistent from last year, recording 66 tackles, 19 assists, a sack, and an interception. He is really an impressive player, day in and day out.

Great dynasty. Interesting situation in the first run. Cincinnati spent a first round pick on Sammy Bryant, but the next year a quarterback named Willie Fulton got the starting job? Who's Fulton? What happen to Bryant? I'm just confused as to why Bryant wasn't a starter.

QB Craig Wolfe – Dallas – Craig was signed by Dallas on a one-year deal as a backup, and as usual spent most of the year on the bench, he did complete one 5 yard pass on the season though.
RB Duane Haygood – Cleveland – Duane signed a 4 year, $105 million new contract with the Browns at the start of the season. Unfortunately he struggled this year, getting only 954 yards on 284 carries, though he did get 11 touchdowns. He added 428 yards receiving and a touchdown. The Browns added a better backup but it seems that Duane's skills are slipping a little, plus Cleveland's offensive line problems are really hurting him.
RB Luke Dimaio – Miami – Luke signed a two year deal with Miami for $4.4 million as their backup. This year he had 157 carries for 526 yards and a touchdown.
TE Donnell Woodard – Minnesota – Donnell signed with Minnesota on a one-year deal. He caught 20 passes for 296 yards and 2 touchdowns and had the best blocking season of his career, with 5 KRBs.
WR Ty Prescott – Washington – Ty kept it very consistent, with 53 catches for 900 yards, but he did have 9 touchdowns which is a career high for him.
DT Richie Thornton – Kansas City – Richie recorded 48 tackles, 18 assists, and 6.5 sacks, he seems to have fallen into a rhythm at this point in his career, very good performances but not fantastic ones. I certainly don't think KC regrets picking him, though.
SILB – Peter Hanks – Atlanta – Peter lost a couple games because of injuries, but recorded 63 tackles, 23 assists, and 2.5 sacks this season.
CB Rodney England – Dallas – Rodney had 40 tackles and 8 assists this year, and went without an interception which is rare for him.
S Brenden Hou – St. Louis – This year was not a good one health-wise for Brenden, as he hurt his knee and kept re-injuring it through the season, but he still managed to start every game despite the pain. He didn't even seem affected by it too much, as he had 61 tackles, and 27 assists, as well as an interception on the year. At this point Brenden is recognized as the best safety in the league, ability wise.

RB Duane Haygood – Cleveland – Duane announced his retirement at the beginning of the season, he said the wear and tear on his body had been too much and he wanted to spend more time with his family. He was the only “star” offensive player out of our selections this time, so this is disappointing.

RB Luke Dimaio – New Orleans – Luke was signed by New Orleans and played very sparingly as a backup, but in week 7 he suffered a very serious elbow injury, was put on injured reserve, and it looks like his career may be over at this point. He had 2 rushes for 0 yards this season.
TE Donnell Woodard – Tampa Bay – Donnell is wandering from team to team now, and he was a backup TE for the Bucs this season, he did have 19 catches for 272 yards and 1 touchdown though.
WR Ty Prescott – Washington – Ty had 53 catches for 857 yards and 7 touchdowns. Basically as long as the starter playing time problem is still around, he won't put up realistic stats.
DT Richie Thornton – Kansas City – Richie had 42 tackles, 19 assists and 5.5 sacks for another solid year, he did suffer a foot injury at the end of the year though which has seemed to affect his ratings.
SILB – Peter Hanks – Atlanta – Peter signed a new deal with Atlanta for 3 years and $93 million. He's really starting to cash in some big money these last few years. He paid back Atlanta with a career year, 100 tackles, 30 assists, 2 sacks and an interception.
CB Rodney England – Dallas – Rodney had a barrage of injuries this year that ciost him three starts, he had 33 tackles, 2 assists, half a sack, and an interception.
S Brenden Hou – St. Louis – Brenden's knee injury from last season continued to give him trouble, as he suffered multiple knee injuries this year which kept him out of several games. Is this the kind of injury that will force an early retirement? In 11 starts he had 40 tackles, 16 assists and an interception.

2035
RB Duane Haygood – Cleveland – Duane signed a 4 year, $105 million new contract with the Browns at the start of the season. Unfortunately he struggled this year, getting only 954 yards on 284 carries, though he did get 11 touchdowns. He added 428 yards receiving and a touchdown. The Browns added a better backup but it seems that Duane's skills are slipping a little, plus Cleveland's offensive line problems are really hurting him.
2036
Duane announced his retirement at the beginning of the season, he said the wear and tear on his body had been too much and he wanted to spend more time with his family. He was the only “star” offensive player out of our selections this time, so this is disappointing.
Why would a guy retire when he still had 80 something million left on his contract? Did he get cut and then retire as a free agent? Is there more to this or should this be expected from this game based on history?

Yeah, but possible, I've seen a very good 2nd round pick, a guy I would consider a 40/70 QB, bust so bad after camp that no team would sign him.

2037 season
QB Craig Wolfe – San Francisco – Craig continues his tour around the country as a backup, though he didn't see the field this year.
RB Luke Dimaio – After his injury last year, Luke called it quits and announced he would retire.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/dimaiolast.jpg
TE Donnell Woodard – New Orleans – Donnell is signed by the Saints on a one-year deal, he didn't play much, and only caught 4 passes for 40 yards.
WR Ty Prescott – Washington – Ty decided to hold out at the start of the season but ended up coming back during pre-season. His numbers continue to drop, he had 47 catches for 732 yards and 3 touchdowns.
DT Richie Thornton – Kansas City – Richie suffered a ribcage and ankle injury and could only start 12 games this year, but he was still impressive, with 25 tackles, 9 assists, and 4.5 sacks.
SILB – Peter Hanks – Atlanta – Peter held out over a renegotiated contract dispute (I assume?) but came back for the start of the regular season. He brought another career year, with 101 tackles, 32 assists, 3.5 sacks and 2 interceptions. Quite a performance, which gave him his first Pro Bowl award, 1st team no less.
CB Rodney England – Dallas – The last two seasons have been an injury nightmare for Rodney, this year he had shoulder, elbow and head injuries and could only start 14 games. Despite that he brought some of his best play ever, with 35 tackles, 11 assists, and 4 interceptions.
S Brenden Hou – St. Louis – Brenden worked hard to overcome last year's injuries, only to suffer worse this year, a very serious shoulder injury during pre-season cost him his entire season, and it looks like his skills have taken a knock also.

Is it just me or do RBs have a lot shorter careers in this game?
Well it seems to be so in this league I'm running anyway, I went to career statistics for rushing and just went down the list to see how long the top RBs had played, every one of them in the top 25 (except one or two who were still active) played for 9, 10, or 11 years, mostly 11.

2038 season
QB Craig Wolfe – Wolfe was a man without a team this year, and will probably hang up the cleats.
TE Donnell Woodard – Donnell wasn't signed by anyone this year.
WR Ty Prescott – Cincinnati – Ty had had enough, he held out from contract negotiations and was released by the Redskins, and then signed a two year, $35 million deal with the Bengals. He's still got a lot of talent and skills and is highly rated. He ended up with 53 catches for 783 yards and 5 touchdowns.
DT Richie Thornton – Kansas City – Richie was franchised by the Chiefs this year. He had another quality year, with 37 tackles, 17 assists, and 3.5 sacks.
SILB – Peter Hanks – Atlanta – Atlanta re-signed Hanks to a two year, $54 million deal this year. He continued to play great for them, very consistent with last year, with 101 tackles, 29 assists, a sack, and an interception.
CB Rodney England – Dallas – Rodney got a new 2 year, $20.8 million deal this year but also continued to suffer a parade of injuries, with arm and ankle injuries this year. Even though he started only 11 games he's still playing at a high level with 27 tackles, 6 assists and 4 interceptions.
S Brenden Hou – The injuries were too much for Brenden, and he announced his retirement. He retires as the all-time tackle and assist leader for the Rams.

I forgot, what was the starter playing time problem?
As far as the RB's, I think it's very realistic. Seems like the more carries they get, the faster they decline due to injuries. I love the peak-decline of the backs as well.
Pere,
Got me inspired to start a mini-dynasty in a similar format until the next patch comes out.

The starter playing time problem is that the game is not setting playing time properly for players at a lot of positions, leading to backups getting an unrealistically high # of plays, targets, rushes, whatever. It seems particularly problematic for wide receivers, as the game doesn't seem to be recognizing in most cases that a better WR should play more, instead it is trying to split the targets and playing time down the middle among all WRs.

DT Richie Thornton – Seattle – This was strange, Seattle named Richie a franchise player, then released him. He ended up signing with Seattle on a one year deal and playing as a backup, his abilities have really suffered. As a backup this year he had 18 tackles, 3 assists, and 2 sacks.
MLB Peter Hanks – Cleveland – Three straight seasons of 100+ tackles wasn't enough for Atlanta, and they cut Peter loose. He signed a one year cheapy deal with Cleveland, who was glad to have him, and he racked up 92 tackles, 25 assists, and a sack for them.
CB Rodney England – Dallas – Rodney had three more injuries this year but was able to start 14 games and record 26 tackles, 9 assists, and an interception.

2040 season
DT Richie Thornton – Philadelphia – Richie has really lost a lot of skills and is basically a filler player at this point. He was signed by Indianapolis and was on their roster most of the year without playing, before he was cut at the end of the year and signed by the Eagles. He had a tackle and 2 assists for them.
I don't see any stats for him for IND or even a line item on his card, so I'm not sure if that didn't get recorded or he reall didn't play at all or what.
MLB Peter Hanks – Minnesota - Atlanta is looking really stupid for cutting Hanks, he was signed by Minnesota for a two year, $25 million deal so they definitely think he's got some talent left. He ended up with 75 tackles, 30 assists, and a sack for them this year to lead the team in tackles and assists.
CB Rodney England – Dallas – Rodney suffered through his usual injuries at this stage in his career but still ended up with an interception, 39 tackles and 13 assists.

Alright, I'm ready to start on my third batch of players, my idea is I'll post a few players and we'll decide together which we'll focus on. This will be out of the 2044 draft in the same league I've been running. I can also occasionally track the guys we didn't pick and see how they did.
Quarterbacks:
My scout is Good with QBs so we should get some decent results here. To be honest I was not impressed with the top picks but I think we should be able to find some sleepers here.
The overall best rated QB at 6.5 is Joel Rae out of Memphis, as you can see our scout thinks he's overrated and he's got the kind of scattershot ratings I hate to see in a top-ranked QB. This guy looks like he could be horrible, or maybe I'm wrong.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/rae.jpg
The second ranked QB at 6.0 is Marshall Dunst out of Tulsa. Our scout thinks he's very overrated but I get a better vibe off his stats. I think he's a slightly better option than Rae.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/dunst.jpg
Corey Whalen out of Eastern Michigan is rated 5.2 and the 5th best quarterback, as you can see he may have some accuracy issues but his skills are certainly there.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/whalen.jpg
Bill Emerson is my sleeper who I think looks very good, even though he's the sixth ranked QB and is rated 4.8, he's very underrated and looks solid across the board. He might be the best of this bunch.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/emerson.jpg
If you want a real longshot, Cary Curtis out of LSU might be it, though only rated 3.9 he looks good in the important areas of accuracy and timing and might be able to develop skills in other areas.

Running backs
The two best scouted players in the draft are both running backs, let's see how they stack up.
Overall #1 scouted player in the draft at 7.1 is Reggie Evjen from Vanderbilt. He's got speed and power and the only drawbacks here are endurance and he's not a pass-catching back. He doesn't look like the complete package but is still very nice.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/evjen.jpg
Brad Lyle out of Texas is the second overall pick, rated 7.0. He's got 4.35 speed which is hard to argue with, and power. Again, a very good back but not fantastic.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/lyle.jpg
There is a big talent falloff after these two and the third rated back is 5.7, Nick Cole out of Illinois has some of the tools and good hands but very high volatility.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/cole.jpg
The next several RBs all look pretty bad, almost all are overrated to boot. The next best option is Ricardo Curtis, scouted as 5.1, he's a speed back who would also get involved in the passing game and special teams.

Wide Receivers
Top rated at 6.2 out of Michigan State is Tommie Ploehn. He looks like a possession receiver but is pretty volatile.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/ploehn.jpg
Dustin Mathis is second rated at 5.6 out of USC. He's the fastest receiver in the draft and brings some solid but not great skills to the table.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/mathis.jpg
Sammie Alcott out of Virginia is rated 5.1 but considered underrated. There aren't any great big-play receivers in this draft class but he's got some talent there and could be a nice reliable player.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/alcott.jpg
The sleeper in a weak receiver class might be Emmanuel England out of Auburn, he's scouted 4.4 but he looks like he has some skills across the board.

Yeah Emerson will be fun to watch I think. Here are a couple of players at different positions than I've used before.
Austin McCarthy is a rookie kicker who looks like he could be an excellent one from the get-go.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/mccarthy.jpg
FB Deion Burks out of Mississippi has the complete package as a fullback, and has 4.59 speed. He really looks like the kind of player that could be converted to RB and be successful, but I doubt the AI teams will do that.

Defensive Line
The best DT from what I can tell is Christian Grier, he's the second ranked DT but the guy over him is way overrated and doesn't look good. Grier looks like he can lock down the run defense.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/grier.jpg
DE Andre Auron looks fast, strong, and has a lot of skills, I think he'll be a good one. I gave him the nickname of Double A.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/auron.jpg
DE Dwight Green is only scouted 5.5 but is very underrated and looks like he could explode out of this draft class as a top run defender.

Linebackers
The top two ILBs are both rated 5.8 but I'll be going with Tyrone Awsare, who's obviously better, high end run defender with a great motor and good field awareness.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/awsare.jpg
Donny Hodges out of Duke is the top scouted OLB, but I have serious questions about his endurance and his field instincts. Maybe he'll surprise us though.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/hodges.jpg
Walter Givens is only scouted 5.0 but is very underrated and looks like a solid if not spectacular player.

Secondary
CB Paul Gilmore is a monster player out of Texas A&M, a certain top 5 pick, scouted 7.1 and very underrated to boot. He needs some endurance training but other than that he's got it all. He's the second fastest player in the whole draft class behind RB Brad Lyle.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/gilmore.jpg
CB Toby Barber may be overrated according to my interview, but he offers potentially great man-to-man cover and run stopping skills.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/barber.jpg
CB Deron Bovee probably won't even get picked in the draft but he might be a fun deep sleeper to follow, he had an impressive 10 foot, 1 inch broad jump which only a handful of players in the draft (all top picks) were able to top, but he himself is very low scouted but as you can see, very underrated. He doesn't have all the tools but he's got enough that you will probably see him in the NFL.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/bovee.jpg
SS Wade "Hitman" Fears is the top scouted safety in the draft and looks like a really good one, he has some endurance problems but looks like a heavy hitter otherwise.

Ha! Surprise early update! After each player I'll post how they look at the end of this first season, I don't want to do this too often but it will let you see how they look in the real NFL.
2044 draft
QB Joel Rae – Seattle – Joel was taken at #1 overall by the Seahawks. We'll see if they end up regretting this or not. Joel had a pretty good first season, though he didn't do much in the yardage department, also he lost the final 3 games of the year to an injury. He completed 60.8% for 2023 yards and 15 touchdowns, 11 interceptions.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/rae2.jpg
QB Bill Emerson – San Diego – Bill went to San Diego in the 5th round. Did they get the steal of the draft or will he not pan out? Bill's potential took a bit of a hit after training camp but he looks like he could still be decent. Unfortunately he's the 4th QB on the Chargers bench right now and didn't play at all.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/emerson2.jpg
RB Reggie Evjen – Washington – The Redskins picked up Reggie at #2 overall. He had a HUGE first season as he tore through opposing defenses like tissue paper for 1756 yards rushing to lead the league, and 13 touchdowns. He also tacked on 372 receiving yards and 4 more touchdowns. He got the Offensive Rookie of the Year nod and also was named 2nd team All-Pro. Wow, quite a debut!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/evjen2.jpg
RB Brad Lyle – New York Giants – Brad fell all the way to #10 to be picked up by the Giants. Brad didn't miss out on the rookie RB spotlight as he had a tremendous year also, going for 1534 yards and 11 touchdowns, with 290 yards receiving and 5 more touchdowns. I smell a great rivalry between these two great backs, don't you?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/lyle2.jpg
WR Dustin Mathis – Carolina – Dustin was picked by Carolina with their #22 pick. Dustin had a disappointing first season for 41 catches for 385 yards and 3 touchdowns. He's got the talent but Carolina has quarterback problems.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/mathis2.jpg
WR Sammie Alcott – Cleveland – Sammie went to the Browns with the #12 pick in the second round. It looks like he dropped a lot in training camp, he has some potential but is going to need a while to get to it, for now he's a backup WR, and ended up with only 11 catches for 135 yards on the year. (On a side note, no rookie WR did really well this year, I think their development is a bit more realistic, also as we saw there wasn't a truly dominant player in the WR bunch)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/alcott2.jpg
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin went to Houston in the fourth round. Austin looked very sharp his first year, kicking 26 of 31 field goals with 7 beyond 40. His leg might not be as strong as they thought but his accuracy is dead on.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/mccarthy2-1.jpg
DT Christian Grier – Dallas – Grier was taken at #12 overall by the Cowboys. Christian is a great pickup for the Boys as they needed a great defensive lineman. He played all over the line in his first season and was impressive everywhere, with 47 tackles, 10 assists, 2.5 sacks
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/grier2.jpg
DE Andre Auron – San Francisco – Double A was picked by the 49ers at #14. AA has all the potential in the world but isn't going to come into it immediately, according to our scouts. This year he was a backup, learning his trade and getting an occasional start, he had 12 tackles, 3 assists, and a sack.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/auron2.jpg
MLB Tyrone Awsare – Indianapolis – Tyrone went to the Colts with the #20 pick. He was thrust into a starting spot immediately and though he's still learning his position, he had a nice year with 74 tackles, 32 assists and 1.5 sacks. I think he can only go up from here.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/awsare2.jpg
OLB Walter Givens – Oakland – Givens went to Oakland with their #31 pick in the second round. Walter is a good prospect who can play all over the field, but has some work to do. He got the starting role this year at WLB and ended up with 50 tackles and 14 assists, as well as a sack. Look at his position experience, they have him lining up all over the place!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/givens2.jpg
CB Paul Gilmore – Baltimore – Paul was picked up at #4 overall by the Ravens. Paul looks as good as promised, maybe better. Our scouts think he's probably the best cornerback in the league! He had 44 tackles, 15 assists, a sack and 3 interceptions. He also had an 83.2% pass defense.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/gilmore2-2.jpg
S Wade Fears – New York Jets – Hitman went at #8 overall to the Jets. He was as good as promised, playing with their other top safety Emmanuel Witt, and had 4 interceptions, 65 tackles, and 16 assists, a great rookie campaign.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/fears2.jpg
Other players – Deron Bovee got picked up after the draft then released, and looks unlikely to make an NFL roster.

2045 season
Rae, Mathis, Givens, and Auron were sent to play in the summer league this year.
QB Joel Rae – Seattle – Joel has a lot of upside at this point so he was surprised to learn he wouldn't be starting this year, lucky Glen Sutter got hurt and he was able to get 5 starts, looking very good with 767 yards, 6 touchdowns and 1 interception, all in only 116 throws.
QB Bill Emerson – San Diego – Bill was the third backup this year and rode the bench. The two guys in front of him are 14 and 15 year vets so once one or both retire he might have a chance at some playing time or at least a move to another team.
RB Reggie Evjen – Washington – Evjen had a good rookie season but he needed to show something special this year, and he did, with a record breaking year that took the Redskins all the way to winning the Super Bowl! Reggie had 2048 yards on 399 carries, and 16 touchdowns, and amazingly this was after missing one start due to injury and being severely limited in another start. He was league MVP, Super Bowl MVP, and set the season record for rushing yards as well as the single game record as he racked up 294 yards against hapless Kansas City. (We'll be seeing things like this now that the starting player time bug has been fixed, it's going to be throw out the record books!)
RB Brad Lyle – New York Giants – Brad couldn't match the record breaking performance by Reggie, but he had a good year in his own right, running for 1408 yards and 10 touchdowns on 271 carries. He added 327 yards receiving and 3 touchdown catches.
WR Dustin Mathis – Carolina – Carolina is still suffering from a terrible QB situation, with their best looking QB alternating between injured and ineffective. Mathis had 44 catches for 513 yards and 3 touchdowns this year.
WR Sammie Alcott – Cleveland – Sammie started at split end for Cleveland, but is really suffering from a case of butterfingers (his avoid drops rating is 0!) He ended up with 50 catches for 589 yards and 2 touchdowns.
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin looked even better this year, and made 29 field goals out of 36 attempts, with his longest being 50 and 15 of 40+.
DT Christian Grier – Dallas – Christian is the best defensive player on the Cowboys, and he looked good again this year, though he battled a knee injury that cost him three games. He had 42 tackles, 18 assists, and 3 sacks in his 13 starts.
DE Andre Auron – San Francisco – The Niners decided to switch Andre over to the right side this year, and he started every game despite injuries, ending up with 44 tackles, 11 assists and 8.5 sacks, quite an impressive total.
MLB Tyrone Awsare – Indianapolis – Tyrone improved an already impressive run-stopping season this year with 88 tackles, 27 assists, and a sack. He also recorded an interception.
OLB Walter Givens – Oakland – Despite summer league, Walter doesn't seem to be developing very fast. He got 8 starts this year but only had 24 tackles, 8 assists and a sack in limited play.
CB Paul Gilmore – Baltimore – Paul struggled through a foot injury this year and had 50 tackles, 14 assists, 5 interceptions, and an 84.1% pass defense, improving across the board from last year.
S Wade Fears – New York Jets – Hitman really started blowing people away this year, recording 95 tackles, 33 assists, and 4 interceptions to be named 1st team All-Pro. He also returned a lot of kickoffs.

I *really* like how you can see they're doing with the AI having them play at different positions.
It'd be nice to see them change primaries for players sometimes though too.

2046 season
QB Joel Rae – Seattle – Joel had his first full 16 game season as a starter this year but is still looking pretty mediocre, with 2677 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
QB Bill Emerson – Bill was released by the Chargers in preseason and wasn't re-signed by any other team. It's not looking good...
RB Reggie Evjen – Washington – Reggie signed a new 4 year, $34 million deal this year. Unfortunately, he suffered a major foot injury in week 5 and wasn't able to play after that point. In those 5 games he had 105 carriers for 658 yards and 3 touchdowns.
RB Brad Lyle – New York Giants – Brad looked great this year, with 337 carries for 1584 yards and 18 touchdowns! He added 3 more scores and 442 yards receiving as well, and all of this helped his team to win the Super Bowl.
WR Dustin Mathis – Carolina – Dustin suffered several injuries that cost him 4 starts, he ended up with 44 catches for 514 yards and 5 touchdowns.
WR Sammie Alcott – Cleveland – Various injuries really cost Sammie this year, he ended up with 36 catches for 470 yards and 1 touchdown.
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin continues to deliver the goods, kicking 26 of 30 field goals this year, with 10 of them from 40 yards and beyond.
DT Christian Grier – Dallas – Christian broke loose this year, getting more involvement in the pass rush, and ended up with 51 tackles, 20 assists, and 8.5 sacks. He was named 1st team Pro Bowl!
DE Andre Auron – San Francisco – Andre had a couple of injuries this year, but in 14 starts he had 25 tackles, 13 assists, and 4 sacks.
MLB Tyrone Awsare – Indianapolis – Tyrone continues to be the solid center of the Colts defense, with 76 tackles, 23 assists, and this year, 4.5 sacks and 2 interceptions.
OLB Walter Givens – Oakland – Walter doesn't seem like he's going anywhere, skill-wise. This year he wasn't even a starter, but managed to get 38 tackles, 11 assists, and 1.5 sacks as a backup.
CB Paul Gilmore – Baltimore – Paul stepped it up this year, recording 4 interceptions, 66 tackles, 9 assists, and a sack, good enough for him to be recognized as a 1st team Pro Bowl player.
S Wade Fears – New York Jets – Wade is becoming a one-man wrecking crew, with 112 tackles on the year, 30 assists, and an interception. Somehow though, he is robbed and only named 2nd team All-Pro this year.

2047 season
QB Joel Rae – Seattle – Joel is starting to look pretty good on the skills front, and his play is pretty decent, but Seattle is running a lot and he still needs to improve. He had 2677 yards and a 62.7 completion percentage, with 13 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
QB Bill Emerson – It looks like Emerson has retired, it's very disappointing, he just never got his chance. He never played a down in the NFL.
RB Reggie Evjen – Washington – Reggie shook off his injuries this year and came back with another huge year, 442 rushes, 2025 yards, 17 touchdowns. He added 60 catches for 381 yards and 3 more TDs, and was named league MVP and 1st Team All-Pro. (Obviously with the new patch and the excessive RB carries guys like him are going to put up huge numbers for now, I've bumped up the injury setting to compensate some, but hopefully this will be tweaked in the next patch.)
RB Brad Lyle – New York Giants – Brad isn't a legend like Evjen but he's putting up the yards, with 312 carries for 1420 yards and 11 touchdowns this year. He also had 66 catches for 442 yards and 3 touchdowns.
WR Dustin Mathis – Carolina – Dustin had his best year yet, with 59 catches for 748 yards and 4 touchdowns.
WR Sammie Alcott – Cleveland – Alcott is barely hanging on to an NFL roster at this point as his skills rapidly deteriorate. He was a backup and only caught 3 passes for 52 yards and a touchdown this year.
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin had 30 field goals in 39 attempts this year, as Houston made it to the Super Bowl but lost.
DT Christian Grier – Dallas – Christian signed a new 4 year, $74 million deal with Dallas. He notched another 1st team Pro Bowl award and recorded 57 tackles, 31 assists, and 7 sacks on the year.
DE Andre Auron – San Francisco – Andre improved from last year with 33 tackles, 18 assists and 6 sacks.
MLB Tyrone Awsare – Indianapolis – Tyrone broke out this season with 106 tackles and 36 assists, a big improvement from his performance so far. Unfortunately it wasn't good enough for any kind of award.
OLB Walter Givens – Oakland – Walter got a few starts this year and put up 34 tackles, 8 assists and a sack. Despite his low skill levels he's actually doing pretty well as a backup linebacker for Oakland.
CB Paul Gilmore – Baltimore – Paul suffered from a lingering knee injury this season and was limited to 2 interceptions, 36 tackles, 12 assists, and a sack.
S Wade Fears – New York Jets – Wade was having a great year until he hurt his ankle, he kept playing and re-aggravated it, then in week 11 seriously injured it and had to be put on injured reserve. In 9 starts he had 55 tackles, 17 assists, and half a sack.

2048 season
QB Joel Rae – Seattle – Joel took a step forward in his career, having his best year ever, 3404 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions on the season.
RB Reggie Evjen – Washington – Reggie signed a 4 year, $105 million deal, and ran well, with 1489 yards on 383 carries, and 7 touchdowns.
RB Brad Lyle – New York Giants – The Giants made it to the Super Bowl this year but lost, Brad had 1207 yards on 279 carries, with 9 touchdowns. He added 473 yards receiving and 3 more touchdowns that way.
WR Dustin Mathis – Seattle – After being released by Carolina and signed by the Seahawks, Dustin had his best year ever, but it wasn't great, he caught 52 balls for 798 yards and 5 touchdowns.
WR Sammie Alcott – Cleveland – Sammie caught 57 balls this year for 534 yards and 2 touchdowns.
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin was very sharp this season, kicking 29 out of 32 field goals and 7 longer than 40.
DT Christian Grier – Dallas – Grier had 38 tackles, 14 assists, and 4.5 sacks on the season, he continues to be a valuable member of the Cowboys defense.
DE Andre Auron – San Francisco – Andre lost some starts to injury, but in 13 games he had 28 tackles, 10 assists, and 3.5 sacks.
MLB Tyrone Awsare – Indianapolis – Tyrone hurt his ankle badly in week 5 and had to be put on injured reserve, he had 15 tackles, 5 assists and a sack before he went down.
OLB Walter Givens – Multiple – Walter was a travelling man this year, playing for three different teams! Dallas, Detroit and New Orleans all gave him a paycheck this season, but he didn't do much for any of them besides sit on the bench, recording only 6 tackles and 6 assists combined. His skills are pretty bad at this point.
CB Paul Gilmore – Baltimore – Paul suffered from several injuries and was only able to start 10 games this year. He did get three interceptions, 24 tackles, and 5 assists on the year, though.
S Wade Fears – New York Jets – Wade suffered from a hamstring injury all year but you couldn't tell, as he started every game and recorded 100 tackles and 24 assists.
2049 season
QB Joel Rae – Seattle – Joel suffered several injuries at the end of the season that cost him 4 starts. He looks really developed at this point, across the board, even in accuracy. He had a great year, ratings wise, really looking sharp, with a 71.9% completion rating, 2458 yards, and 19 touchdowns against only 2 interceptions.
RB Reggie Evjen – Washington – Reggie continued to plow under the opposition, on 453 carries he had 1889 yards, and 16 touchdowns, adding 5 more scores and 283 yards in the passing game. He grabbed his third MVP award this season.
RB Brad Lyle – New York Giants – Brad continues to run well for the Giants, but isn't getting a ton of carries, he had 261 carries for 1100 yards and 5 touchdowns this year. In the passing game he had 406 yards and 3 more touchdowns.
WR Dustin Mathis – Washington - Dustin was released by Carolina and signed by the Redskins on a one year deal. He was used sparingly as a backup, getting only 20 catches for 243 yards on the season.
WR Sammie Alcott – Pittsburgh – Sammie signed with Pittsburgh on a one year deal, but barely played, getting only 5 catches for 65 yards and a touchdown.
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin kicked 22 of 30 field goals this year, with 5 longer than 40. He's moved into 1st place in Texans history in field goals and points scored.
DT Christian Grier – Dallas – Christian was banged up a lot this year, suffering many minor injuries, but managed to start 14 games, and record good numbers, with 49 tackles, 14 assists, and 5 sacks on the year.
DE Andre Auron – San Francisco – Just when I thought injuries were wearing AA away, he came up with his best year since 2045, 38 tackles, 8 assists, and 7.5 sacks.
MLB Tyrone Awsare – Indianapolis – Tyrone bounced back from his injury last season to record 86 tackles, 32 assists, 3.5 sacks and an interception.
OLB Walter Givens – Walter went unsigned this year, and is on the verge of retirement.
CB Paul Gilmore – Baltimore – Paul hurt his back badly in week 2 and was put on injured reserve. He had 12 tackles and 3 assists in those 2 games.
S Wade Fears – New York Jets – Wade had an off year this year, some blame a knee injury, others a shift in defensive schemes that saw him involved a lot less in the run defense. He had 48 tackles, 26 assists, and an interception, in a year that saw the Jets win the Super Bowl.
It's time to catch up on the other players I mentioned at the beginning of the year, and see how they're doing.
QB Marshall Dunst – The second best QB was picked an ambitious 3rd overall by Kansas City, and it was a mistake, he played three years as a backup at KC and then moved on to Washington and Cleveland, all as a backup. Even now he still has a good bit of potential but since he's only started one game in his career he may never get a chance to find it. He's not so much a bust as a guy who never got his chance, if he gets it he can still be a decent QB.
QB Corey Whalen – Corey was drafted by the Packers at #16 overall, was a backup for two years, then retired.
QB Cary Curtis – The deep sleeper was picked up by the Saints for a year but never got a chance to play, then retired and is now managing his own construction company.
RB Nick Cole – Nick was picked by the Bears as the 10th pick in the second round, and has turned out to be a solid player, he's still in the league, playing mostly with the Bears and now with the Jets, and has 1500+ yards each of the last three seasons. He helped take the Jets to the Super Bowl this year.
RB Ricardo Curtis – He was picked by the Steelers at #12 in the third round, and has provided tremendous value for them, he's got great speed and has used it to rush consistently, with 1398, 1382, and 1253 his totals for the last three years. He's been franchised by the Steelers twice now.
WR Tommie Ploehn – Tommie was picked at #11 overall by the Bears, and has been a solid possession receiver but nothing spectacular, he's never exceeded 662 yards in a year but is a great option over the middle with a lot of guts. He's still with the Bears.
WR Emmanuel England – England was picked by the Packers in the 6th round, and is still in the league, he's got some hustle and doesn't drop the ball, he's a journeyman backup receiver who sees a different team each year.
FB Deion Burks – Burks was picked by Baltimore at #4 in the second round, high for a fullback, but he continues to dominate his position, winning 1st team Fullback for the last four seasons straight. He blocks well, can catch the ball, but doesn't do much running.
DE Dwight Green – Dwight made it into the first round as the last pick by the Eagles. He's had a rocky career, with injuries costing him a lot, but has emerged as I predicted, as a very good run stopper on the defensive line, at this point in his career he's travelling to a new team each year.
WLB Donny Hodges was picked #26 overall by the Lions, and is still with them, he's a reliable run defender who has been very consistent in his numbers each year.
CB Toby Barber was picked by the Buccaneers at #18 overall. He's put up great numbers, especially in tackles, and has given Gilmore a pretty good run for best cornerback in this draft class.
CB Deron Bovee – Deron made the NFL briefly but couldn't last and never played.

2050 season
QB Joel Rae – Seattle – Joel had another good season, he's not going to kill you with yardage but he's accurate and makes good decisions. This year he had a 71.3% completion rate, 2820 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions.
RB Reggie Evjen – Washington – Reggie is a beast, there's no other way to say it, he is the most dominant running back in the league and if he keeps his current pace may break some career records. He had 1773 yards on 443 carries this year, for 17 touchdowns, bagging yet another MVP award. Here's one amazing statistic, he has started 100 games in the NFL, and out of those has rushed for 100 or more yards in 57 of them.
RB Brad Lyle – New York Giants – Brad remains consistent, with 1110 yards on 243 carries, and 6 touchdowns.
WR Dustin Mathis – St. Louis – Dustin was signed by the Rams to a one year deal, and had a decent year, with 38 catches for 634 yards, with a career high 8 touchdowns.
WR Sammie Alcott – Oakland – Sammie moved to Oakland on a one year contract, and caught 21 passes for 247 yards this season.
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin kicked 26 field goals out of 33 attempts, including a career long 54 yarder. Houston won the Super Bowl this year giving him his first ring.
DT Christian Grier – Dallas – Christian had 47 tackles, 18 assists, and 7 sacks in 14 starts this year, good enough to be named 2nd team Pro Bowl.
DE Andre Auron – San Francisco – Andre's skills continue to decline but he is still putting up decent numbers, with 33 tackles, 9 assists, and 7 sacks.
MLB Tyrone Awsare – Indianapolis – Tyrone starts 10 games but gets used as a backup the rest, and only has 52 tackles, 22 assists, and half a sack on the year.
OLB Walter Givens – Givens is a free agent all year but hoping the phone will ring.
CB Paul Gilmore – Baltimore – Knee and hand injuries limit Paul to 10 games this year, and he only gets 25 tackles, 7 assists and one interception.
S Wade Fears – New York Jets – Wade rebounds from last year's weak numbers with 87 tackles, 24 assists, a sack and an interception, and is recognized as a 2nd team Pro Bowl player.

What is the career record for rushinng yards?
Well as you might expect, with the B patch giving high endurance backs the opportunity to run a lot more, often unrealistically so, since that patch history has been re-written. Reggie Evjen will almost certainly break the career record in a year or two if he stays healthy. For now, the career record is held by Isaac Rasberry, with 13,673 yards. What's funny is that Rasberry was also a Redskins player, for 11 seasons.
Clifton Mikulski holds the career rushing touchdown record with 102, but Reggie will probably break this shortly also.

2051 season – first season run with the C patch, just FYI.
QB Joel Rae – Seattle – Joel has been threatening to have a breakout year and this was it, our scouts rate him as one of the best QBs in the country (it's amazing to watch his accuracy rating climb year by year from its low start) and this year he passed for 3586 yards, with 26 touchdowns and 13 interceptions, a career year. While you certainly can't say he's been worth a #1 overall pick, he's been productive and is getting more so.
RB Reggie Evjen – Washington – Reggie continues to plow through opposing defenses, he had 337 carries this year for 1587 yards, and 9 touchdowns, good for 1st Team Pro-Bowler. Reggie has proved (through any patch) to be a world class running back.
RB Brad Lyle – New York Giants – Brad re-signed with the Giants for a 3 year, $82 million deal but then found he was replaced as the Giants starting back by newly signed #4 pick Ricky Anthony. As a backup this year Brad had 139 carries for 636 yards and 1 touchdown. He's pretty unhappy with the new situation.
WR Dustin Mathis – Baltimore – Dustin took his skills to Baltimore for a year, and played sparingly as a backup, with 21 catches for 278 yards and 1 touchdown on the year.
WR Sammie Alcott – New York Jets – Sammie was signed to a one year deal by the Jets, and due to an injury ended up starting as their 2nd receiver all year, but was pretty lousy with only 41 catches for 558 yards and 3 touchdowns. His skills have faded away and I'm surprised he's still starting in this league.
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – The Texans put Austin's leg to good use this year, as he converted 39 of 46 attempts, with 13 longer than 40. He was named 2nd team All-Pro Kicker.
DT Christian Grier – Dallas – Grier injured his tricep in exhibition and missed the entire season due to surgery. Let's hope he can bounce back.
DE Andre Auron – San Francisco – Auron is keeping his starting job but he's getting less and less done each year, this year he had 28 tackles, 15 assists, and 4.5 sacks.
MLB Tyrone Awsare – New Orleans – Tyrone is cut by Indianapolis, and ends up in New Orleans on a one-year contract. He starts a few games but is mostly a backup, and records 35 tackles, 21 assists, and 1.5 sacks on the year.
OLB Walter Givens – Walter finally officially retired. He looked promising at the start of his career but petered out early.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/givenslast.jpg
CB Paul Gilmore – Baltimore – Paul was limited to just 9 games by a groin injury, he had 22 tackles, 3 assists, and an interception. His last few years have really been crashed by injuries, I'm not sure how much longer he'll hang around.
S Wade Fears – New York Jets – Hitman surprises everyone with a career year this season, 116 tackles, 41 assists, 1.5 sacks and an interception. He is named 1st team Pro-Bowl safety. It looks like he's still going strong, skill-wise.

2052 season
QB Joel Rae – Seattle – The Seahawks franchised Joel this off-season, and he seemed to accept it since it means at least a temporary nice pay bump. Joel suffered a foot injury last year and it continued to bother him all year, as he aggravated it a couple of times. He missed 4 starts but was pretty effective, throwing for 2327 yards with a 66% completion rate, for 14 touchdowns and 6 inteceptions.
RB Reggie Evjen – Seattle – Amazingly, Washington cut Reggie in the off-season, possibly because the ghost of Daniel Snyder thought he “wasn't good for our system” and wanted to sign the ghost of Deion Sanders instead. Seattle jumped on that fumble and signed him to an impressive 2 year, $72 milion deal. Reggie lost some time at the end of the year due to a leg injury, but it didn't matter, with 1178 yards on 262 carries, and 11 touchdowns, he became the all-time rushing and rushing touchdown leader! He also holds the all-time mark for most 100 yard games, with 68. He has some competition for some of these marks, so I'll keep an eye on them.
RB Brad Lyle – New York Giants – Brad is again the backup, and gets 136 carries for 540 yards and 5 touchdowns. He's hoping he'll get some more playing time either with the Giants or another team.
WR Dustin Mathis – Cleveland - Dustin signed with Cleveland for a one year deal, and got a good bit of starting time thanks to injuries, but his final totals were mediocre, 35 catches for 461 yards and 2 touchdowns.
WR Sammie Alcott – Sammie was unsigned this year.
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin continued to be money for the Texans, kicking 27 out of 30 field goals this year, including a 53 yarder.
DT Christian Grier – Dallas – Christian looks unfazed by his injury last year, and Dallas signed him to a 3 year, $65 million contract. He rewarded them with his best season ever, 60 tackles, 20 assists, and 8 sacks, even recovering two fumbles. He was named a 2nd team Pro-Bowler.
DE Andre Auron – Andre was released by the 49ers and was signed in week 6 as a midyear replacement by Seattle. He only played in a few games and had 3 tackles, 3 assists, and half a sack before being released by them in week 14. It could be the end of his career.
MLB Tyrone Awsare – Philadelphia – Tyrone signed with the Eagles on a one year contract, and filled in here and there as a replacement, for 21 tackles, and 9 assists. He's still got some ability to defend the run but it's unclear if he'll get another chance.
CB Paul Gilmore – Baltimore – Paul hurt his knee in the middle of the season this year, then aggravated it badly near the end and was put on IR. In his 11 starts he had 32 tackles, 7 assists, and half a sack. The injuries are definitely getting the better of him at this point, his last 5 seasons he's played in 10, 2, 10, 9, and 11 games and it's unclear how long he'll be able to take the punishment.
S Wade Fears – Tennessee – Wade was released by the Jets and somehow went unsigned, ending up on a one-year tryout with the Titans. (I hate when the good players fall through the cracks.) This year was a painful one for Wade, as he played through a barrage of minor injuries but somehow started every game. His numbers suffered, though, down to 77 tackles, 27 assists, and an interception.

2053 season
QB Joel Rae – Cincinnati – Joel went to free agency this season and ended up signing a 3 year, $119 million deal with Cincinnati. He looked pretty good in his first season as a Bengal, completing 61.9% of his passes for 3503 yards, with 16 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
RB Reggie Evjen – Indianapolis – Reggie was released by Seattle and sparked a bidding war for his services, after turning down two other teams he went with the Colts for a 2 year, $70 million offer (who wouldn't?) He suffered a clavicle injury that cost him four starts, and didn't get as much playing time as he'd like, but still managed 1047 yards on 221 carries and 5 touchdowns. His skills are definitely taking a beating after this injury but he's still got some running left to do if he wants to.
RB Brad Lyle – Brad decided that his prospects didn't look good, and decided to retire. He was definitely overshadowed by Reggie but he was a reliable back, and leads the Giants all-time in most rushing categories.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/lylefinal.jpg
WR Dustin Mathis – Dallas – Dustin signed with the Cowboys on a one year-deal and caught 16 passes for 224 yards and a touchdown. Dallas won the Super Bowl so Dustin got his second championship ring this year.
WR Sammie Alcott – Sammie decided to hang up the cleats and start his post-NFL life. You'd have to say he was a disappointment as a 2nd round pick, he never really made an impact in the NFL or looked particularly sharp. When you go out with only one career highlight, 4th in career dropped passes for Cleveland, well it speaks for itself.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/alcottfinal.jpg
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin was as sharp as ever, kicking 29 field goals out of 31 chances, including 14 longer than 40 yards. He's got lethal accuracy and has converted 83.7% for his career so far.
DT Christian Grier – Dallas – For the second time in three years, Grier suffered a major injury in pre-season and was out for the season. Considering he lost his chance to get a Super Bowl ring with his team, Christian is pretty disappointed.
DE Andre Auron – Andre remained unsigned this season.
MLB Tyrone Awsare – Baltimore – Tyrone signed a one year contract with Baltimore and got some starting time for 12 games this year, recording 72 tackles and 22 assists, his best year since 2049.
CB Paul Gilmore – As suspected, the injuries were too much for Paul and he decided to retire. He was a good player but as a 4th overall pick didn't really give the Ravens their money's worth, mostly because of the injuries that decimated his career. He goes out as 3rd in passes defensed for Baltimore and 5th in interceptions for them.

QB Joel Rae – Cincinnati – Joel played well for the Bengals this year, completing 64.8% of his passes for 3127 yards, with 25 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. He had three 300 yard games this year, and had had only 2 in his career up to now.
RB Reggie Evjen – Indianapolis – The Colts renegotiated Reggie's contract to add another year, but he wasn't very effective, and certainly not the Reggie of old. On 238 carries he had 990 yards and 5 touchdowns.
WR Dustin Mathis – Detroit – Dustin continued his tour of NFL cities with a stop at Detroit, he started 13 games for the Lions, catching 38 passes for 516 yards and 7 touchdowns, overall his best performance since 2050 and his best career touchdown year..
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin kicked 26 field goals out of 31 attempts this year, and was an impressive 4 of 5 from 50+.
DT Christian Grier – Dallas – Christian has managed to keep his skills pretty intact despite his major injuries, and starts all 16 games this year for 51 tackles, 17 assists, and 3.5 sacks.
DE Andre Auron – Andre called it a career. He played capably for the 49ers for several years but never really developed as the dominant player they were hoping for when they drafted him.

MLB Tyrone Awsare – Washington – Tyrone played for both Tampa Bay and Washington this year, with a combined 23 tackles and 10 assists in a backup role.
S Wade Fears – Houston – Wade was released by Green Bay, turned down a couple of offers and ended up signing with Houston for two years and $15 million. He suffered his normal injuries but managed to start 13 games and had 59 tackles, 10 assists and a sack.

QB Joel Rae – Cincinnati – Joel re-signed with the Bengals for a whopping 3 year, $170 million contract. I'm not sure he's worth it, as he can't seem to shake his recent interception problem, he threw for 3646 yards this year (a career best) for 18 touchdowns, but with 18 interceptions.
RB Reggie Evjen – Reggie held a press conference and announced his retirement. At this point, he doesn't have anything left to prove, he has a championsip ring, he holds career rushing records in yards, carries, touchdowns, 100 yard games, and yards from scrimmage, and he's a sure Hall of Famer. He'll join Thomas Gaylor as the second Hall of Famer out of our dynasty picks. He's had quite a career.

WR Dustin Mathis – Dustin went unsigned this year.
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin kicked 23 out of 29 field goals this year, including 7 of 10 from beyond 40.
DT Christian Grier – Dallas – Christian was consistent as he always is (when he's not injured.) He had 52 tackles, 24 assists, and 7.5 sacks on the year.
MLB Tyrone Awsare –Tyrone went unsigned all year.
S Wade Fears – Houston – Wade limped his way to 57 tackles and 22 assists this year as a starter, his abilities have worn down but he's still getting it done.

2056 season
QB Joel Rae – Cincinnati – Joel has been playing well in Cincinnati, but no one expected his explosion this year, Joel threw for 4299 yards, with 29 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, a career year all around, and he was named to the 2nd team Pro Bowl squad for the first time in his career. Is he just a late bloomer or did Seattle not give him enough tools to work with?
WR Dustin Mathis – Mathis retired this year. His two Super Bowl rings were his biggest impact on the league as he never made it past the level of anonymous receiver.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/mathisfinal.jpg
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin converted 22 of 23 kicks this year, including all 9 past 40 yards.
DT Christian Grier – Grier called it quits, he kept going past several serious injuries but it's time for him to go. He was a very solid, reliable player for Dallas at a position that has a lot of turnover, and was definitely a good pickup for them. He leaves a four time Pro Bowler and Dallas' all time leader in blocked passes, and 2nd in QB hurries.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/grierfinal.jpg
MLB Tyrone Awsare – Awsare called it a career, ending what was a very promising career at first. Tyrone put up some solid numbers but a lot of team switches and injuries stopped him from becoming better than average overall.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/awsarefinale.jpg
S Wade Fears – Green Bay – Wade signed with Green Bay and hoped to reach his goal of 1000 career tackles this year, but a serious injury put him on the IR list instead, and he recorded no stats this year. Looks like this could be the career ender for him, but we'll see.

2057 season
QB Joel Rae – Cincinnati – Joel came down a bit from last year's performance and had some accuracy problems this season, he ended up with 3638 yards, with 17 touchdowns and 19 interceptions.
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin slipped a bit this season, converting 28 out of 38 opportunities. Most of his misses were from beyond 40, and some are questioning whether his leg strength is up to the task anymore.
S Wade Fears – Wade went unsigned this year, and it looks like he won't be signed again.
2058 season
QB Joel Rae – Cincinatti – Joel remained a bit shaky this year but got the job done, throwing for 3365 yards with 17 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin is still Houston's kicker but he's obviously not as good as he was and they have a young kicker on the roster who's almost to his level. Still, this year he converted 26 of 32 field goals, but only 4 of 11 beyond 40, he's very accurate for the short kicks but his power is dropping by the year. He is now 5th all time in field goals with 408, but needs 38 more to tie the all-time leader.
S Wade Fears – Hitman retired this year, after an impressive career, four Pro Bowl nods, a championship ring, and is the Jets all time leader in tackles and assists. Wade is also #38 on the all-time tackle list, with 939.

2059 season
Reggie Evjen was inducted into the Hall of Fame this year with 92% of the votes!
QB Joel Rae – Cincinnati – Joel started all 16 games, though he continued to be lackluster, he threw for 3563 yards with 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
K Austin McCarthy – Houston – Austin is barely holding off the other kicker now, but was still given the starting nod, and kicked 25 of 30 field goals this year, including 6 of 11 beyond 40. He's very close to the all-time mark but will need another season of starting to get it.
2060 season
QB Joel Rae – Cincinnati – Joel is in his 17th year as a starting quarterback, and injuries are adding up a little, but he still starts 13 games and throws for 2158 yards with 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
K Austin McCarthy – Austin retired this year, so close to the all-time field goal lead, but the Texans had informed him they were going to release him and he didn't think he'd be able to sign with anyone else, so he hung up his cleats. He goes out 3rd on the all-time field goal list, but 1st on the all-time points scored list, edging legendary kicker R.J. Mathews by 2 points in that area. One very strange statistical note, Austin missed his first extra point attempt in his first game, but then never missed another one, kicking 570 straight PATs.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/mcccarthyfinal.jpg
2061 season
QB Joel Rae – Joel retires, after a long career. He was never a standout, only getting one Pro Bowl bid, and no Super Bowl Rings, but he had a successful career with two different teams and leads Seattle in all-time passing yards and touchdowns, and is second with Cincinnati in those areas.

Well that's it for this batch of players! We got another Hall of Famer in Evjen and I wouldn't be surprised if McCarthy makes it in too. If people are interested I can set up another batch of players, or if not I can call it a dynasty.

I'm going to try something different this time around, instead of picking the good players we like, I'm going to track the players the computer selects, in this case I'm going to track all of the picks that the best and worst teams in the league make, so that should be around 14 to start with, with many of the late rounders falling off pretty fast. I'll also try to give an explanation of where the teams are and how these draftees will help them.
For the 2063 draft, in 2062 the San Diego Chargers won the Super Bowl, driven there from a 10-6 regular season finish by excellent post-season performances by their 16 year veteran QB Earl Shea and their veteran running back Ethan Rodgers. This team was a surprise to everyone and this was their first bowl win ever! Basically this was not a traditional Super Bowl team loaded with talent, their offensive skill players are mostly veteran guys on their last legs who put it all together for a good year, plus a pretty good defense. They can really use some replacement players at various positions going into the draft, and the scout says their primary need positions are mostly defensive, DE, OLB, and reserve DE. It's unlikely that Earl Shea has more than one or two more years with the team so they might look for a replacement if they are lucky enough to find one.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of the sad sacks of the league, they finished 3-13 last year to earn the top pick, and it has been seven years since they last made the playoffs. They also have a very seasoned QB, 16 year veteran Trent Myers, though they do have a very good receiver in 8 year player Spencer Juneau. They have some real problems at defensive line and in other parts of their defense, and the scout says they need a DE, Safety, and a Quarterback.
Tampa Bay has two really good choices at the top of the draft, both in their need positions, QB Andrew Jourden edges out DE Dustin Delgado, but only by a bit, both are graded 7+ players and top the draft class. Which one will they choose?
Tampa Bay - #1 overall – QB Andrew Jourden, Florida State. There's a lot here to like, as he has pretty good skills across the board, and massive upside, as long as he works on his timing. His very high volatility is a possible concern, however.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/jourden1.jpg
San Diego - #32 overall – DE Melvin Crawford, Jacksonville. The Chargers grabbed a solid player at a need position, who looks like a good run stopper and could be moved over to the right side of the line where he has more experience.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/crawford1.jpg
Tampa Bay - 2nd Round, pick #1 – SS Ty Wiggins, Duke. Tampa jumps on this excellent safety prospect, I'm surprised he didn't go in the first round as he looks like he could have the complete package.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/wiggins.jpg
San Diego - 2nd Round, pick #32 – RB Dan Arnold, Arizona State – The Chargers pick up Arnold, who doesn't look that great out of the gate, I don't see much potential for him to be a starting back as he lacks the speed and power, but he's got some tools and could be a third down/special teams guy with some pass catching ability.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/arnold.jpg
Tampa Bay - 3rd Round, pick #1 – RB Scott Addy, South Carolina – I like this running back pick more than Arnold, he's got some outside speed and a bit of power inside, looks like these could combine to make him a decent back at the NFL level.
San Diego - 3rd Round, pick #32 CB Kevin Kanellitsas, Jr, Memphis – This looks like a nice pickup to me, as what Kevin lacks in run defense skills, he has in spades in zone and bump and run, as well as other areas. This is a great player to get at the end of the third round.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/kanellitsas.jpg
Tampa Bay - 4th Round, pick #1 SS Chris Derosa, Texas Tech – The Bucs grab a second safety to back up their previous pick, and he looks like a nice catch also, with good run defense and ballhawking skills, and is an excellent punt returner.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/derosa.jpg
San Diego - 4th Round, pick #32 LG Bernard Eppright, Indiana. - The Bolts want someone to fill out their offensive line corps and Eppright looks like he could be an average player, probably a backup. He's got high volatility and good experience as a right guard so a switch there could pay dividends.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/eppright.jpg
Tampa Bay - 5th Round, pick #1 FB Tommie Lombardo, Virginia – Tommie looks like he could be a useful player, with some skills in catching the ball, special teams, and blocking, and a low volatility.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/lombardo.jpg
San Diego - 5th Round, pick #32 WLB Deion Coleman, Kansas – Deion is a player who looks very good against the run and can play man-to-man a bit, with experience across the entire defense.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/coleman.jpg
Tampa Bay - 6th Round, pick #1 CB Chuck Clemons, Ohio State – Chuck is a gamble, a guy who has medium ability across the board in most areas but has low volatility, instead he has nice experience across the secondary, they may be looking for someone they can pop in as a backup right away.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/clemons.jpg
San Diego - 6th Round, pick #32 LT Randal Evens, Assumption – It's a crapshoot this late in the draft, Randal has some good experience on the line, though his abilities look pretty questionable to me.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/evans.jpg
Tampa Bay - 7th Round, pick #1 C Courtney Stelmack, Colorado State – This guy looks pretty good for a 7th rounder, middling ability and a high volatility.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/stelmack.jpg
San Diego - 7th Round, pick #32 WLB Anthony Dennis, Dayton – A random scrub with very low volatility, this guy is my “most likely to never be heard from again” player.

2063 season
Both teams improved on last year's performance, but Tampa Bay's was much more impressive, they went from 3-13 last year to 9-7 and winning their division this year! Tampa had a much improved offense as well as major improvements to their secondary this year.
Tampa Bay
QB Andrew Jourden – Andrew looks like he's going to be as good as expected, though his complete lack of timing is a problem. This year he split time with Trent Myers and started 9 games, he had the usual rookie problems, and threw for 1772 yards with 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. In the Bucs Wild Card loss to San Francisco, he broke loose for 325 yards and 3 touchdowns, but it wasn't enough. This kid is going to be good.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/jourden2.jpg
RB Scott Addy – Addy isn't great, but the Bucs don't have anything at running back, so he platooned this year with Bill Mathis. Scott had 203 carries for 773 yards and 6 touchdowns as part of a surprisingly effective running game.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/addy2.jpg
FB Tommie Lombardo – Tommie is the only fullback on the Bucs' roster so he did a bit of everything, blocking, catching a few passes, running the ball occasionally. He didn't add much to the offense in any case.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/lombardo2.jpg
C Courtney Stelmack – Courtney was the backup center for the team, and played a bit, recording 7 KRBs out of 21 chances.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/stelmack2.jpg
RCB Chuck Clemons – Chuck was used as a backup cornerback and safetyand his experience is showing, his ratings are pretty nice for a 6th round pick. He had 10 tackles, an assist, and 2 interceptions on the season.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/clemons2.jpg
SS Ty Wiggins – Ty jumped in at starter right away, and looks like he has nothing but potential, he put up some nice numbers this year, second on the team with 82 tackles, 19 assists, and 2 interceptions.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/wiggins2.jpg
FS Chris Derosa – Chris was moved over to free safety and immediately started as part of the rookie safety tandem with Wiggins. He had 39 tackles, 7 assists and an interception.

San Diego went 11-7 and lost in the wild card round to Houston.
RB Dan Arnold – Dan was as bad as expected, and barely played this year, mostly in special teams.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/arnold2.jpg
LG Bernard Eppright – Bernard looked very good from the start and was named the starter in an anemic offensive line. He did well, racking up 24 KRBs in 72 chances, and looks like he could become one of the better members of the line.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/eppright2.jpg
LT Randal Evans – Evans was released by the Chargers and signed with Cleveland. He doesn't look like he'll be around the league long.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/evans2.jpg
DE Melvin Crawford – Melvin brings a lot to the table, skill-wise, and he was named the starter for most of the season, 12 games. Overall he had 15 tackles, 6 assists, and 6.5 sacks.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/crawford2.jpg
WLB Deion Coleman – Deion has a lot of improvement left to go, but he did start this year for 13 games, his numbers were 39 tackles, 7 assists, and 1 sack on the season.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/coleman2.jpg
WLB Anthony Dennis – Anthony doesn't look that good but as a warm body he filled in for an injury and played surprisingly well, with 25 tackles, 11 assists, and 1.5 sacks.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v608/krm123/dennis2.jpg
CB Kevin Kanellitsas – Kevin has a good bit of potential but he never got to play this year and ended up on the bench.

2064 season
Tampa Bay was consistent at 9-7 and winning their division, while San Diego slipped to 8-8 on the year.
Tampa Bay
QB Andrew Jourden – Andrew was sent to summer league to help improve his skills, and is developing well across the board. He started all 16 games this year as Trent Myers has retired. This season he completed 62.7% of his passes for 3367 yards, with 18 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. The Bucs are very excited about Andrew and the things he will do for them in the future.
RB Scott Addy – Scott was released and spent the season unsigned.
FB Tommie Lombardo – Tommie is developing slowly as a blocker, and this year didn't even start every game, it seems the Bucs are moving away from using a fullback in all their sets. In 9 starts he had one run for 4 yards, 21 catches for 57 yards, and 7 KRBs in 18 chances.
C Courtney Stelmack – Courtney again played sparingly as the backup center, he doesn't have much upside but he'll do in a pinch. He had 6 KRBs in 14 chances and allowed 1 sack in 147 pass plays.
CB Chuck Clemons – Chuck has developed well for a 6th round pick and started 5 games this year, playing in all of them. He had 3 interceptions, 32 tackles, and 5 assists, and is really playing well for his limited time.
SS Ty Wiggins – Ty struggled with hand and shoulder injuries this year, but was still a starter and a valuable part of the secondary, in his 15 starts he had 83 tackles, 24 assists, a sack and an interception.
FS Chris Derosa - Chris had knee and leg injuries this season that limited his development, instead of starting as he did last year he was knocked back to backup, and due to the injuries only played in 10 games, recording 12 tackles and 5 assists.
San Diego
RB Dan Arnold – Dan got some playing time this year, starting one game and playing in all of them, he had 107 carries for 421 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also had 27 catches for 165 yards and a touchdown. He's certainly not blowing anyone away with his talent at this point.
LG Bernard Eppright - Bernard has developed fully at this point and is a capable guard and and excellent fourth round pick. He started every game and had 30 KRBs in 88 chances, and allowed 10 sacks on the year.
LT Randal Evans – Randal was released by the Chargers, he played in one game for the Browns and was then released by them also.
LDE Melvin Crawford – Melvin started every game and did a little bit of everything, with 20 tackles, 13 assists, 5 sacks, and a nice 15 hurries.
WLB Deion Coleman – Deion was dropped back to backup as the coaches feel he isn't developing fast enough. In very sparse play he had 14 tackles and 3 assists.
WLB Anthony Dennis – Anthony started two games and played as a backup, recording 28 tackles and 7 assists on the year.
LCB Kevin Kanellitsas – The Chargers sent Kevin to summer league hoping to spark his development, but it didn't help much when he didn't get to play at all this year! He's got potential but desperately needs playing time.

2065 season
San Diego remained 8-8 on the year while Tampa Bay improved to 11-5 and won their division.
Tampa Bay
QB Andrew Jourden – The Bucs had hoped for a star franchise QB when they drafted Andrew and it looks like they got one, as he came into his own this year, exploding for a great year, completing 67.9% of his passes for 3816 yards with 30 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions. He was named league MVP as well as Offensive Player of the Year! He's filled in all his red bars at this point, thanks to summer league last year and a good mentor.
RB Scott Addy – Scott retired.
FB Tommie Lombardo – Tommie was re-signed by the Bucs for two years and $6.2 million. He was actually much worse at blocking this year, with only 5 KRBs in 33 chances, and caught 25 passes for 104 yards. He started even fewer this games this year, with 8.
C Courtney Stelmack – Courtney remains backup center, with 10 KRBs out of 22 chances this year.
CB Chuck Clemons – Chuck played sparingly as a backup this season, with 5 tackles and an assist, then was released in Week 10, and remained unsigned.
SS Ty Wiggins – Ty has developed to be one of the Bucs star players on defense, though this year he continued to be hampered by injuries. He had 65 tackles, 13 assists, a sack and an interception.
FS Chris Derosa – Chris started 6 games at free safety and continued to run back punts for the Bucs. He had 20 tackles and 7 assists.
San Diego
RB Dan Arnold – Dan was resigned by San Diego for two years and $6.8 million. He barely got to see the field this year with 4 rushes for 13 yards, though he was used as a backup receiver with 36 catches for 371 yards and two touchdowns.
LG Bernard Eppright – Bernard started every game again this year and had 38 KRBs in 85 chances, improving his blocking percentage by quite a bit to 44.7
LT Randal Evans – Randal retired.
LDE Melvin Crawford – Melvin continued to start, with 22 tackles, 9 assists, and 5 sacks, along with 13 hurries.
WLB Deion Coleman – Deion was again a backup and recorded 11 tackles, 4 assists and a sack this year.
WLB Anthony Dennis – Anthony was the primary backup at WLB and had 30 tackles and 4 assists this year.
LCB Kevin Kanellitsas – Kevin actually got to see the field this year! He started in 2 games and played in 3, with 8 tackles and an interception.
