I see that FOF 2007 keeps track of all-purpose yards. Kickass, but I've never really considered passing yards to be included into the equation. When I think of all-purpose yards leaders, I think of Lionel James, not Dan Marino. Maybe a design decision. If it is, I'm not too fond of it. *shurg*

Well, you have to find some way to quantify the millions that you are paying the running back that runs for 50 yards per game, catches a couple of passes for 20 yards, returns 2 kicks for 40 yards and 5 punts for 30 yards.

Yes, I'm looking at you, New Orleans. :)

None I guess. Your post just threw me for a loop.

It was just a jab at Reggie Bush. About the only player you hear regarding all-purpose yards is Reggie Bush. 150 yards in a game sounds impressive, until you dig a little deeper and find out 100 of them were from 5 kickoff returns.

I just scroll past the QB's to see who it really is. :)

That's exactly what I'd like to avoid having to do.

Funny, but in TCY QBs don't count in APY. I wonder why the decision was changed for FOF?

The game does track total yardage from scrimmage two columns to the right of all purpose yards. Although it doesn't include KR and PR, it's generally a more useful stat than all purpose yards imo (as noted above, it doesn't give credit for those 75 yards on 5 kick returns).
