New at FOF2007 - questions - New Game Options,

I'm new with FOF2007.

I'm going to start a new league and I'm on the New Game Options screen.
I'm not sure about what some of the options mean.

I looked at the Help text (F1) but I'm still not sure about some of the options.

For "allow hiring and firing of General Managers" - does this just refer to me in a single-player game or does it refer to all General Managers i.e. human and computer?

What does "Include Personality Profiles and Team Chemistry" mean? Does Team Chemistry have a major effect? Do the Personality Profiles refer only to players. not staff? Are they a major influence on how a player plays or signs contracts?Do most people play with it on or not? Is it better to play with the option on or off?

Because I'm new I may choose 'Main Street' difficulty level, but is this too easy? Would 'Fifth Avenue' be better? Can I change it in mid-career?

Is there an editor for this game?

Just single-player. Computer GMs don't get fired as, unlike FM, they haven't really got any kind of avatar. You can be fired, but you won't see turnover for the computer teams.

Not a smack-you-over-the-head effect, necessarily, but I'm certain that there are those who would argue it can have a significant effect all the same.

Right.

Again, nothing seriously overt, but teammates who don't get along with one another can bring down the overall level of play for a team.

Do most people play with it on or not? Is it better to play with the option on or off?

YMMV.

No, you can't change in mid-career. Main Street is significantly easier than the others. I generally play Fifth Avenue, but that's a personal foible - I don't enjoy how much harder it is to renegotiate existing contracts on Wall Street. Fifth Avenue seems to be the best balance -- for me.

Is there an editor for this game?

There's a file in my FOF 2007 menu called "Player File Creator," but I think that just lets you create custom universes, not edit the existing one.
