Wow.
I'm not doing much drinking lately, as I've been working out a LOT more and just don't feel like drinking much. Heck, I still have 31 bottles of the red ale I made and a dark ale ready to get started brewing, but seriously, I just haven't been in a "mood" to drink lately. Anyway, yesterday I picked up a bottle of Disaronno after my friend told me how wonderful it was....hot damn was she right!
Even my cat (who doesn't like alcohol) seems to like it....
That is all, I'm quite content right. now. :D

Get some sweet and sour and make an amaretto sour.

Yes it's amaretto and yes I'm drinking it straight up.
I can actually see how it would go well with OJ.
They have some recipes on the website, I'm tempted to try them sometime. :D

Add sweet and sour and that makes an Amaretto Stone Sour.

Amaretto is best straight up IMO.

You should try a flaming Dr. Pepper -- incredible how much it tastes like Dr. Pepper. Float a tiny amount of 151 over a shot of Amaretto, light it on fire. Drop it into a glass of beer and chug it. It's amazing :)

In the winter months, nothing beats french brandy or scottish whisky.

Well in general I'm a fan of Jameson Irish Whisky and Woodford Reserve bourbon.
But this Disaronno is quite nice for just sipping.

I always liked driving through Saronno in Italy. It always smelled REAL good.

That's the stuff right there. Try Basil Hayden as well if you haven't.
