Chose porterhouse, but I pretty much like any of them (when cooked a grill). Except tofu, of course.

Tenderloin is my favorite and when I'm cooking for myself I can afford to buy it.

The porterhouse is my steak of choice. Not only is it huge, but having both a tenderloin and strip loin on the same piece of meat is awesome :)

T-Bone all the way (in Italy "bistecca alla fiorentina").

When I grill a steak it's usually a ribeye...

Porterhouse, but it's gotta be thick, 25 oz or so. You get the best of all worlds, with the strip and tenderloin. Plus there's just something about the meat still having the bone in which adds to the flavor

I am a big fan of the T-Bone tho a Porterhouse is also really good- they're fairly similar, after all.

It all tastes pretty much the same to me. I like it, but I can't tell the difference between the different cuts or whatever.

Beef Tenderloin (aka Filet Minon). There is no better cut of meat, imo.

Oh Porterhouse! Look at the wax buildup on these shoes. I want them buffed with a fine shammy and I want them now. Chop chop!

I've found I like the sirloin in most places better than the filet.

Filet #1, strips are my second favorite.

I voted Porterhouse for an ideal situation.
I typically make Ribeyes in the oven on an iron skillet and that is far better than any grilled steak I have ever done before. However, the steak needs to be a minimum of 1" thick to do it justice in the oven.
The tricky part about a filet is that it does not want to be overcooked. It doesn't take much to overcook a filet.
I suggest the two part Good Eats episode on tenderloins for how to properly cook these cuts of beef.
Prime rib is where it's at...a nice end cut rawks my world.

Anybody recommend a good place to order steaks, filet minon online?

I've never had any success with the online places. For what you pay for them, I wasn't impressed at all with Omaha Steaks. The best source I've found for steaks is either Costco or Sam's club.

A ribeye from a Jersey steer. Steaks are a bit smaller but Jersey meat is much better than Angus, if you ask me. I don't know many places where you can buy a good Jersey steak so we just give our neighbor a calf and he grows it for us.
Got one ready right now, it's just a matter of getting the butcher out to slaughter the steer.
