None of those options. I think they are good but not brilliant. I don't know about very overrated, but they are at least a bit overrated. That being said, they are getting a lot of play on the stations I listen to on XM, and I'm still enjoying them despite heavy play.

Loved Hot Fuss (except for Track 4) and I love tracks 1, 3, 5, and 6 on Sam's Town so far...

I was just clowning around since I was listening to their latest CD and didn't put in all the proper responses in the poll. I enjoy the CD. And the latest from Snow Patrol is pretty good as well.

About the first 5-6 tracks of Hot Fuss were pretty good, fun. Everything else is pretentious and boring.

I really liked the single "When You Were Young" but didn't know much of their other stuff, so I... uhhh.. bought their latest album and I think it's pretty woeful. Woeful enough to cancel out my liking of When You Were Young.

I liked Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine, Smile Like You Mean It, I tolerated Mr. Brightside, and I hated the rest of their debut album. Having a generally negative view of them, i haven't heard a peep of the second album, and have no real interest in hearing any more. Too much other stuff i really do like to spend anymore time with these guys. Not terrible, but hugely overrated.

What's funny is that I would mentally pair this bands in my collection as "I liked 3 songs off the first album I heard. I'll continue to like those songs, but I disliked the rest enough to decide I was one-and-done with them."
I can't deny Spitting Games, Chocolate, and Run off of Final Straw, but the rest was crap unfortunately.

They are one of about a dozen interchangeable Best Buy $10 artists who all claim influences from 80s new wave bands that I couldn't match with their popular song(s) if my life depended on it. I've even been repeatedly playing one of them on Guitar Hero and I still can't recall the name of the band.

The more I listen to The Killers' new CD, the more I like it. The new Snow Patrol, however, is extremely boring to me.

The song of the new album with Martha Wainwright is very, very good. But I feel that is more her than them...

I do like them. Not out of this world good, but pretty solid.

I don't know what it means, but my favorite song from them is "All the Pretty Faces", which (I believe) is a bonus track.
ditto for the Roots (In Love with the Mic)

Now that I have a 30 minute commute to work, I get more time to listen to CD's than I used to. So it's the whole album that I listen to, sometimes 4 or 5 times in a week. The Killers and Snow Patrol are both pretty melow, and it might just be my return trip home when I'm kind of unwinding that makes me like these bands so much.
