That's right, I have no frickin' idea what to buy as Stocking Stuffers. I never had to worry about this crap before.
Some friends of mine are throwing a "Thanksmas" party this weekend. We are doing a "Thecret Thanta" (yes, they're dorks). Price max of $8.14. Ok, fine. I know what to get for that. No problem.
But they are also having stockings for everyone. 9 adults (Well 8 not counting me) and 7 kids. We are all poor so everyone is basically just buying crap at the dollar store. My problem is what do I get for stocking stuffers? What constitutes something like that (you know, something that wouldn't cause people to give me weird looks for being a social idiot)? Especially for the kids. I don't know what to get to put into the kids stockings.
So, please, FOFC, help me.

LOL. I had something like "Will ignore first reply since I know it will be 'condoms'" but I deleted it before posting.

Lottery tickets, can't go wrong with those.
Well, not for the adults anyway.
As for the kids, I'd have to know more about age & gender before trying to figure that one out.

Well, since most of them are kids, how about bubbles, pez dispensers, cute pencils, card games, disposable camera (if you have a membership at Costco or Sam's Club, you can get a whole bunch of them for a decent price), arts and crafts stuff (washable crayons, markers, colored pencils, small construction paper), small stuffed animals for girls or small trucks/cars for boys, stickers...

What I always got as a kid was:
Lots of assorted candy goodness, tree ornament, and a small toy of some sort

Packets of hot chocolate mix. Who doesn't like hot chocolate?

For the boys, it's hard to go wrong with one of those 99 cent bags of army men.

Considering my place of employment, I could get you the perfect stocking stuffers for the naughty kids.

Considering the previous poster, I think you should give them Pumpy Pics.

Most big box stores also have a mini-aisle where they stock a bunch of $1 crap (which is also where I usually find the bags of army men). For kids under 12 or so, that aisle is a gold mine for stocking stuffers.

Candy always works. An ornament or some cheap holidy figurine. Depending on the age of the kids.. mad libs, playing cards, coloring supplies, bubbles, chalk.
Could also be fun to just be an oddball and pick up random items at the dollar store for the adults.. like a spatula, can of corn, potholder, etc.

Don't do it. Find a woman who'll love you for what's inside.

You can often find dollar bins in office supply stores that have all sorts of things for adults. Most everybody is an office supply junkie.

The kids range from several months to several years. Some boys, some girls. The only two I know for sure is a 2 year old girl and a boy that's several months. The rest are older.

Nicely played, both of you :)

Jelly Bellies. Works for everyone. Nothing like seeing a 3 year old accidentally get a coffee flavored jelly bean. :)
