God-forsaken Utah

Heh...this is FOF2K7 (and 2K4, etc.) related, I promise...

Anyone notice how many players' hometowns are cities in Utah? I swear, in 2K4 it seemed like every draft I had at least one (and usually two) players from Utah, and that was with a reduced draft pool because I only drafted players from Big 12 schools. Now in 2K7 I've landed two guys from Salt Lake City, at 1 (3) and 7 (3), respectively.

Anyone else noticing a predominance of players from Utah? Especially decent to good players?

I've noticed the same thing, it seems like every other guy I look at is from Utah sometimes. Seems to be a rarity to see one from oregon, though, which is probably accurate. Must be all the clean living.

I have always been amazed in ver2004 and ver2007 how many are from towns in Hawaii

I'm fairly impressed with the player generator. I grew up in a very small town in North Central Washington and then went to a small public university.

In 2009 I was able to draft a QB in the 7th round from my Alumni and my hometown.

And yes, before you ask. The only reason I drafted him were for those two reasons. We shall see how he turns out.
