On an injured player's player card, when you click on his injury, it gives you a summary on the player's ability to play with the injury and the risk of injuring it further. Nice addition!

Haha, much like the injury feature, I didn't notice that until now either.

One of my favorite new additions. The injuries and risk of re-injury make sense too. For example, a guy with a concussion is very high risk of re-injury (and it will be a long injury if he gets multiple concussions.) On the other hand, something like a broken nose or broken toe has no chance of re-injury. Hamstring injuries are very high risk of reinjury as well.

Something I just mentioned in another thread that I hadn't noticed before was the unknown injury length that is classified as doubtful. In FOF2k4, you could only be OUT or PROBABLE. Now Doubtful is possible. Another layer of decision making with regards to your injured players.

Pretty sure you could be questionable/doubtful in 2k4.

With the injury length being "unknown"?

I also like the little "x" next to an injury indicating, "the player aggravated an existing injury significantly enough to increase his expected recovery time."

Also, to go with this, I found it neat that a player can aggravate an injury on a later play in the same game where he received the initial injury. Granted, I was none to happy when it first happened to a key player on my team, but I do like that a player who is injured and stays in the game can aggravate the injury in the same game.

I guess I could be wrong, but I htink there were injuries of unknown length in 2k4.

No...Dutch is talking about the combination, I believe. Unknown-length injuries in FOF2K4 were either "Probable" or "Out." In this version, unknown-length injuries run more of the spectrum.

I know my articulation isn't very good, but is it really that bad? So anyways, yeah, what Skydog said. :)

For some reason I get a chuckle out of reading, "There's no point in even asking. This guy's career is finished." instead of the usual, ""Player should not be on the field." when clicking on a really bad out injury (CEI).
If I then look at the player's contract and the millions in bonus money paid out, I hear a faint flushing sound from my speakers. And no, it does not go away when I turn the volume up on the speakers.
