Anyone else gotten fired?

So I get fired after about 10 seasons for not making enough money. Its really a vicious cycle because I had the most talent every season, and I'd structured my team nicely and built it together, but invariably I'd lose 5-7 games a season because my coaching was shit, and I couldn't get fan support for a stadium because I never made any money, so I couldn't buy decent coaches.

Anyway, enough bitching, a follow up. There was no choose new team option. So I'm basically screwed. I started over, but every single time I play single player that dynasty pops up, how do I get rid of it in my selection screen?

So if you get fired, you can't take over a new team? I thought I read that somewhere, but I don't remember as I haven't been fired yet. As I say this I bet Buffalo fires me. :)

If that basically ends your 10+ career, I'm turning that option off tonight when I get home.

It allows you to ignore the firing. I thought it would let me switch to another team though, I mean, I'd made the playoffs 7/10 years, I expected at least a few teams to be possibilities, but it pretty much just ended everything.

Though that all being said, I suck at this game and don't know why. I was good at 2k4.

I've been fired when running my dynasty league, I just ignored the firing and the next year moved to a new team, after a while I got fired from that team, ignored the firing, etc. It's easy to get fired when you never sign a free agent.

Not sure if it is in the latest version, but yeah, I've seen it. I got fired after winning the FO Bowl, in fact. Money issues. Lost a pantload of squat. Which I wish had more importance in MP.
