I wanna see all the NFL Europe people for myself lol. NFL Europe is a totally awful concept in the way that it is done at this point. If certain divisions had certain teams to use for thier players I would find it much more interesting.

I'd also like to see super-smart monkeys implemented in the game.

Will probably be implemented before either of our ideas.

Jim has said that the vast majority of his customers don't visit FOF Central. My guess would be that the "silent majority" of customers simply don't spend a lot of time online. Therefore, they couldn't care less about multiplayer, but they probably DO e-mail Jim with requests/suggestions.
Also, from another source, I've heard evidence that multiplayer isn't as popular in general as those of us who are online more would think. According to Sierra, only 2% of the people who bought Empire Earth EVER play it online. This sounded absurd to me, but then when I looked around, I realize that I know a good chunk of people who own EE here in the Atlanta area, but I'm the ONLY one who every plays it online.
Bottom line: if you put computer gamers on a continuum from "VERY CASUAL" to "HARDCORE," the odds are that FOFC is comprised of people much more on the "hardcore" end of the scale. My guess is that the bell curve applies here.

i'm not a fan of either of these features. FOF needs more interaction with the media and the players and agents and such. It needs the immersion factor.

True as it may be that the poll may be skewed, the reason Jim does not get that many emails about multiplayer is that he has denounced doing this and many people aren't gonna keep beating a dead horse. Nobody gives a damn about NFL Europe not even the Europeans because there is no way to have much continuance the way it is formatted. Although I could be wrong that nobody cares I doubt it based on attendence, ratings and the watercooler conversations I have not had about it lol. Multiplayer is not that big a deal in some genres, but based on the popularity of fantasy football I know there is a market for people that want to play GM against other real life fake owners.

good point on the immersion though I wish there was more to the players than just ratings and such, like a player expressing interest in playing for a team.

basically, those two "wanted features" that you had mentionned in the poll are -along with media interaction- all I've ever dreamed of seing in FOF someday.

More stats!! More Stats!! and we could use a few more stats. Keep career stats the way OOTP does. Be able to manage your Hall of Fame and view retired players like in OOTP.
For me, the two options given are two of the least important improvements that could be made to the game.

Multiplayer's winning 2 to 1.

I agree 120% even though I can see the value in either NFL Europe or multiplayer (more than one human-owned team).

SkyDog, the problem with saying that those people aren't online much seems odd. The game is only available online and until relatively recently you had to be someone who scoured the web to really find it. Add that it was mostly electronic download until the more recent versions.
I think the 'beating a dead horse' analogy might be the more correct one. How many people have seen the already hardline stance against multiplayer and eventually give up trying, or figure they would at least try to suggest something different that might have a better chance of gaining his approval, like NFL Europe.
Which means you have the following groups:
A) Want multiplayer and have continued to ask.
B) Want multiplayer but got tired of asking.
C) Want multiplayer but got tired of being rejected for that so tried recommending something else.
D) Want NFL Europe more than multiplayer, but still may want it.
E) Want NFL Europe but not multiplayer.
F) Want neither.
This could lead to easily skewed numbers on the set of requested items.
